Pros: sound system
Cons: moon roof
Advice: dive it you will like itI like it so well that I purshased it.
Pros: 4WD and a manual 5 speed
Cons: Engine Noise at high speeds 75 - 100mph
Advice: Get the extended cab so you'll have some room to throw your stuff, so it doesn't go flying all over when you go off roadGreat Truck. I was pleasantly surprise with the power of this 4 banger
Pros: engine/trans response
Cons: finished appearance of door trim panels
Advice: inspect your vehicle carefully before buying, make sure details are addressedoverall response very good..gas mileage met epa specs,,,vehicle quiet ride very good thru 75 m.p.h.,,automatic heater/a/c controls very poor due to hi reflection of daylight reflection,, almost not seeable when bright light reflection shines on window display of settings..takes too much of your time to see where certain settings are and much of the same complaint appies to the sound system settings display.. fine at night with dash lights on but very poor in hi reflective conditions...with abs system brake pedal a little too soft for me..really wonder if the vehicle will stop in time..i have an xls version 2001,, finish very good except for all 4 door trim leather panels,, poor mold while being formed in manufacturing has left raised edges around power window/door lock contols,,looks poor,, toyota inspected and laughed at it and said no help.$36,000 and laughed and said no help!!!what a joke on me...customer satisfaction didn't apply just save the warranty money on replacing the door trim panels...the district service mgr. made that decision on the spot...
Pros: Toyotas reputation for qaulity cars.
Cons: Radio volume control a little hard for us with larger fingers.
Advice: Drive and compare, it does all the speaking for itself. The new styling originally won us over. When we test drove it, I was impressed with the power from the four cylinder. The standard equipment was impressive also. When the salesman explained all the safety features on this car we were sold. Hardest part was picking the color (Black walnut pearl).
Pros: Seating for 8 and rear climate controls
Cons: Blind spot created by the passanger side(2nd) row headrest
Advice: buy it!I loved the way it handled and the comfort. It drives like a car.
Cons: Insuring the thing, seeing others pulled up next to you
Advice: Try one out, you will like it.It didn't cost as much as a BMW or lexus, but definielty drives like one! I tested many cars this time around, but the Celica GT-S took the cake. The car sounds, handles, and looks like a sports car, and turns heads on the road like one too.
Pros: Comfort, visibility, responsiveness
Cons: Many options should come as standard. Packaged options are strange combinations.
Advice: If you're looking for a great little 'do everthing' runabout. This your car!I took my time and read all the reviews, test drove 5 of the top rated SUVs and found the RAV4 was the best quality and comfort for my specific needs. Being a petite female ruled out many of the SUVs because of access, comfort or visibility. The RAV has great styling, looking so much like a Lexus, that people are always asking if it is. The seats fit perfectly..AND move up so my short legs can reach the peddles. The auto is much smoother than the standard that I drove. The engine is peppy, merging into freeways well, and 'kicking in' to pass while cruising at about 80. I don't need a gas guzzling speed demon for my 'runabouts' and trips. Steering was responsive and firm. The ride was car-like with very little sway or tilt in the test. Just all around...fun to drive. Seemed to have more punch and pick up than many of the higher priced or more powerful(Including CRV and some V6s).
