    2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Limited (A4) 4x4

    Pros: the perfect size

Cons: no passenger side power door lock button.

Advice: Buy one now before they become noticed and everyone will have one

We test drove all the SUV's. This one is the ONLY one that has 3 rows of seats, leather, running boards, sunroof, power everything, heated seats and mirrors, full frame, REAL 4wd for $26k. Nothing even comes close. Its small enough to easily park and big enough to carry 5 people + all their lugguge for a weeks vacation in comfort. This truck is the best kept secret in the automotive industry.

    2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Standard (M5) 4x4

    Pros: V6, 4WD and ABS.

Cons: Arm rest are too small, cruise control is preffered in the steering wheel.

    Advice: The ultimate driving machine.

XL-7 out performs all others in its class. City and especially off-road handling is excellent. Most of the required features are a standard part of the vehicle. Very smooth ride. Has a decent V6 that generates an instant power when ever required.

    2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Limited (A4) 4x4

    Pros: Style/look

    Cons: NO Alarm standard????

Advice: Do your research..XL-7 is rated #3 safety behind BMW and Mercedes!

I have been driving a fully loaded 99 Jeep Gr Cherokee LTD v8 4.7l for last 3 yrs (beautiful truck), the v6 2.7l XL-7 is a better value and performance is compromised slightly, but, gas mileage makes up for it. Where else can you find a SUV LOADED,heated leather, 4wd, 3rd row seats, etc...for $25K??? I did tons of research and this was a perfect fit! FYI, Suzuki as of 7/02 has implemented a 7yr/100k Powertrain warranty to compete as well---HUGE!!

    2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Plus (M5) 4x4

Pros: Power performance and comfort!!!! A+++++

Cons: The arm rest and sun visor are both to short. C-

Advice: Research before you buy and compare Susuki to all other models.

Great handling and towing. Comfort is wonderful and cargo room is the best! Great stereo system. Bought in Nov. 2001 and we'll buy again when the 2004 models come out. A excellent SUV for your money. Compared online and with 4x4 magazine and then test drove 5 different SUV's before I bought my XL-7 and I am thankful for it!

    2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Standard (M5) 4x4

    Pros: seating

Cons: so far the only thing that i found was the shocks don't seem to be wroking like they should?

Advice: I would buy another one of these

in driving this vehicle i find that the rear shocks are soft when going over bumps in the shopping center and at high speed it seems to float like there are no rear shocks when i hit or go over small bumps in the highway . i took the vehicle to the dealer and had them examine the shocks and they said that my tires were over inflated, they readjusted the tire presure. but i now have gone about 400 miles more and when i go in a shopping center where there are speed bumps it still feels like it is floating, I'm going to drive it another 500 to a 1000 miles and see what happens? i now have about 900 miles on this vehicle.

    2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Limited (A4) 4x4

Pros: The value. Looks and rides nice too!

Cons: Only 1 color available for the interior. Very small third seat. The cruise control button is on the dash.

Advice: Do your homework. Compare it to comparable vehicles. Test drive it in a variety of situations to really get a feel for how it handles.

A lot of vehicle for the money! Other vehicles in the same price range don't have the little extras you get with the XL7 (tinted windows, air filtration sytem, extra power outlet in back). The smaller size makes it easier to manuver and park. Comfortable ride. The split seats fold for a variety of cargo options.
