    2005 Suzuki Forenza - LX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: 5 speed manual transmission

Cons: Takes a while for the heat to kick in

Advice: drive it for a bit before buying

I like the Forenza. For the money it's a lot of car. It performs well and gets good gas mileage. I'd reccoment it for anyone looking for a new car. Its a 'No-frills' vehicle with still a lot oging for it.

2006 Suzuki Forenza - Premium ABS (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Interior

Cons: Everything went wrong with engine

Advice: Don't Buy... Do Your Research

We bought our 2004 Forenza brand new and have had nothing but problems with it. Within a short period of time after the purchase the belts in front tires broke .. waited 6 weeks for replacement tires. Then the fun begun..they have replaced 2 cam sensors and main computer system. And at the present time we are up against another problem ... needs another cam sensor. Suzuki is a true nightmare to work with. They find every excuse they can to cover their tracks... BEWARE...DON'T BUY.. Trading in our Lemon

    2004 Suzuki Forenza - S (M5)

    Pros: Torque and Handling

Cons: CD player misses the opening notes of first song when insterting a disc to play. But, otherwise the stereo with CD, Cassette and eight speakers is very nice.

    Advice: Test drive the 5-speed!

Since I bought my new 2004 Forenza two years ago, I can say that after 28,000 miles it has been a great car! Gas mileage ranges between 28 and 37 miles per gallon, depending on local or Interstate driving, and I'm amazed how this five-speed will even climb steep hills in fifth gear! It also handles well on slippery or snow covered roads and accelerates quickly when downshifting to pass. The main reason I bought this car was for all the standard features at a cost of only $11,000.00. It was the last 5-speed Forenza on the lot, so I'm glad I decided to purchase it when I had the chance. Prior to owning this car, I bought a new Volkswagen Golf in 1985 which I had for 15 years, 215,000 miles, and its original clutch. I probably would have bought another VW, if I wouldn't have had to pay seven or eight thousand dollars more than the cost of the Forenza, but I can honestly say I'm very impressed with the Forenza for the cost! I've had no major problems, except it sometimes idles high in cold weather before it warms up, but that's to be expected of any car if you don't give it time to warm up. I haven't decided if I'll keep the Forenza for 15 years, like the VW, or if I'll look for something else with even better gas mileage when it becomes available? I have another year or 8,000 more miles on the Bumper to Bumper warranty and five more years or 72,000 more miles on the Powertrain warranty. In any event, I'd say I'm very pleased with this purchase and I'd surely consider buying another Suzuki when shopping for a car.

    2006 Suzuki Forenza - Base (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Body Style

Cons: All the Problem and the lack of power in first and second gear.

    Advice: BEWARE

I bought my Suzuki Forenza in Killeen Tx at a local dealer. That was on a Saturday night, by Thursday morning I was at the dealer with a broken valve and passenger side airbag senor malfunction. Before purchasing this vehicle i would gather all the fact about it. This is a DAEWOO Made in Korea. Suzuki Changed the name.BEWARE

2006 Suzuki Forenza - Premium ABS (M5) Sedan

Pros: Reasonable price for loads of standard & safety features

Cons: Intermittent No Start Problem, Poor Sales experience at Dealership

    Advice: Don't Buy One

Rides nice on test drive! This car looks nice and has loads of great standard & safety features. Beware the value depreciates by $6,000+ right after you buy it! I bought mine with A/T in late May, had it all of 7 days before “No Start” problem happened to me. Like me, many are buying it & finding this problem afterward. I took it back to the dealership for diagnosis & repair after the 2nd incident. I thought the 1st one was just a fluke, they had it for 7 days. After getting it back the engine is now revving high and idling rough for a few seconds every morning after I start it and continues to do so. I now own a new car that may or may not start, doesn't keep me cool & is not worth what I paid for it. I doubt I'll be buying another Suzuki product again!!

    2004 Suzuki Forenza - S (M5)

    Pros: handling

    Cons: no aftermarket parts

Advice: Great purchase for general use

Just bought this car 3 weeks ago, everything about it is great except for two small things. First thing that bothered me was the shifter location, but thats just a personal opinion. The other thing that I didn't like was something going on with the rpms spinning down slow. Apparently this has something to do with a UD pulley, still researching it. Great car unless you want to modify it, overall I am rather pleased with the purchase.
