Pros: gas mileage
Cons: rOomGOod. VEhicle
one of the best
Cons: surveyscar has done well by me
Bullit Proof Ride!!!
Cons: Gas mileageThis car has been 100% reliable for the first 100k (except for a battery at 90k). It has been everything that I could have expected.
Pros: Handling and AWD
Cons: Under powered by 25/30 hp.This car is wonderful to drive and handles like a BMW at times. Problem without Turbo auto is a bit under powered even with the manual 5 speed. Still for a short wheel base it feels great, stops on a dime and is very balanced. Low center of gravity and AW keeps auto glued to ground. Best car for the money in its class. First Subaru but won't be the last.
Great car, but ugly
Cons: no folding mirrorssmooth CVT
In the woods & the garden
Pros: Open Bed
Cons: Subaru discontinuing the modelI love my Baja. Their is room for friends inside while hauling all of our camping gear in the bed. having the bed allows me to pick up mulch and other garden items without making a mess inside of a carpeted area like I would if I had a standard SUV. The all wheel drive and strong engine give me that extra pep for driving in the mountains. The only thing that I am unhappy about is Subaru deciding to discontinue this model.
Pros: The handling
Cons: everything but the handlingDon't get me wrong, this car is a lot of fun to drive. However, considering the price, the quality is very poor. There are a lot of squeaks, the paint scratches extremely easily, I've had problems with the fuel door. The overall interior materials are cheap. The metal is cheap. The car feels cheap.
