    2002 Volkswagen Jetta - GLS 2.8L (EOP Week 40) (M5) Sedan

    Pros: the V6 engine

    Cons: the gas milage

Advice: Beware of the gas milage claims

This is a truely comfortable car to drive. I've owned the 4 cylinder also and the V6 is much smoother and quieter and plenty powerful. The fit and finish are excellent, although I have had some problems that are a little concerning to me such as the passenger window falling into the door, and the springs under both seats falling out. Minor, but irritating. The biggest surprise has been that the car does no better than 278 miles on a tank of gas, far short of what was claimed. I drive 148 miles each way to work, and have not gotten 300 miles from a tank yet.

    2002 Subaru Impreza - WRX (M5) Wagon

    Pros: Performance

Cons: Some corners cut on interior, finish, etc.

Advice: Test drive it-You'll know right away if this car is your cup of tea!

The WRX Sport wagon is in my opinion one of the best values on the maket. All-wheel drive combined with a turbocharged boxer engine produces some serious fun. The car accelerates with great speed, especially upwards of 3000 rpm, and corners with total precision. The car reacts beautifully to the driver-as an added plus, the wagon offers a fair amount of cargo space, and all models have full power and a decent sound system. I actually look forward to driving, even in traffic!

    2002 Subaru Impreza - WRX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Accelaration

Cons: Cargo space, pass trough needs to be bigger, or split rear seats would be appreciated

Advice: Make sure you get the wagon if you need cargo space. Other than that, the car is great

This car is great, accelaration is excellent. Handling is great too, although I wouldn't mind it a little bit stiffer. Fuel ecomony is about what I expected, between 20 and 30 mpg mostly near 20 around town, but I drive a little heavy footed. Build quality is good, the only rattle I noticed in 10000miles was the spare tire squeaking on the metal bed in the trunk on my bumpy gravel driveway. I got some 17in wheels, OZ Prodrive P1's for those in the know that really add character and a few extra mph in corners. The stock tires are nothing special but I'm going to use them in winter...

    2002 Toyota Celica - GTS (M6)

    Pros: Handling

    Cons: Visibility

Advice: Buy a manual celica. If you don't know stick, then learn!

The 2000+ celica is a great blend of looks, fun, performance, and practicality. The car handles great and has impressive acceleration for such a small engine. It takes some getting used to, but once you are acquainted with the high-reving 4-banger, you can really fly in this car. The hatchback trunk is huge and gets even bigger with the rear seats folded down. The GT-S gets good fuel mileage, but this is somewhat offset by its premium gas requirement. So if you want something unique, reliable, and fun, go for the celica.

    2002 Subaru Impreza - WRX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: All Wheel Drive

    Cons: no power seat

Advice: Buy this car you will love it. you don't want to park the car It's so fun to drive.

I recently bought a 2002 Impreza wrx sedan. I love this car. I previously owned a chevy blazer. I love how the awd keeps the car planted firmly on the ground. The seats are great, i jsut wish they had power seats but oh well no biggie. It's also fast and takes corners like it's on rails. You won't go wrong with this car. Oh and for all of you over 6 foot who are thinking of getting this car, go for it. You will have pleanty of room in it.
