2003 Saab 9-3 - Linear Sport Sedan
Cons: stereo sucks
Advice: besides the stereo and the confusing and not so friendly buttons on the dashive driven vw's most of my life, from a vintage 62 bettle to a 2001 1.8t jetta, never even thought of buying or driving a saab. i bought a 2003 93 2.0t used and the car feels like i just drove it out of the show room. saab has just won me over. cant wait to buy a brand new one!
2003 Saab 9-5 - Aero Sedan
Pros: The comfort
Advice: should shop aroundVery good overall driving experience, good strong engine and comfortable seating even with long road trips.
2002 Saab 9-5 - 3.0t Arc Sedan
Pros: I find the drivers compartment very comfortable and stylish.
Cons: The rear end seems a little routine looking.
Advice: Because of the turbo make sure oil changes have been done.Bought a 95 arc 6 months ago. My first european sedan. The car is fun to drive. Performance and luxury throughout. Would highly recommend a test drive. More reliable then people think, no problems yet, and what isn't expensive if large repairs are needed.
2005 Saab 9-3 - Aero Sport Sedan
Pros: Sport seats and aux input for my ipod
Cons: Turbo Lag
Advice: Drive it on a road where there is no Police, so you can wind this thing up.I got a loaded Aero. This car is awesome. It is not fast off the line, but get that car on a twisty road and you have a rocket(as long as you keep the RPMs up). There is quite a bit of turbo lag, but it is fun when it really kicks in.
2005 Saab 9-2X - Linear
Pros: All around driving experience
Cons: stock stereo
Advice: Don't overlook this rare gem if you find oneI drive 48 miles one way to and from work, and to sum it up, I want to keep driving when I get there. I have a Black Linear w/cold/sunroof/5mt and love every exhilerating moment. Yes the stereo could be better, and the armrest could be higher, but the cornering is out of sight. 50 around a 25 mph curve in the rain. No tire slippage. Also got to 100 mph easily. And over 30 mpg when I drive it easy. I love this car.
2005 Saab 9-2X - Aero
Pros: Everything, especially the performance and the look.
Cons: Completely satisfied...
Advice: Nothing to tell them... Just go and test-drive....The 9-2xwill speak for itselfI bought a 92x Aero with manual a month ago. Black... It looks terrific. It is the perfect mixture of a family car with a sports/performance car. The acceleration is incredible. It is just like riding a motorbike. The exterior, although similar to Subaru Outback / Sport in profile, is unique becasue of the classical Saab front, which gives it an aggressive look. And the price is incredible nowadays for a car of this class.
2004 Saab 9-3 - Arc Sport Sedan
Pros: turbo engine, cabin atmosphere, aura
Cons: creaks and rattles
Advice: when you test drive try to see if you can hear any creaks or rattlesEngine is obviously a lot of fun to work with. Perfect for the weekend racer and weekly commuter. My biggest issue with the car is the creaking and rattling I hear everywhere. The places that creak include: driver side door panel, sunroof lining, rear driver side seat area, and dashboard. I have surround sound creaking whenever there are minor vibrations on the road. Every shift in weight causes some sort of creak. I hear these problems are covered under warranty so I'll check my car in soon. Otherwise my new car is fun to drive. CHECK FOR CREAKS IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS.
