2002 Pontiac Firebird - Trans Am Coupe

    Pros: Body style/speed

Cons: Hard to get into tight parking spaces.

Advice: Not a family car; not bad on gas if you keep your foot light but the power is there when you need it or just want it!

I LOVE DRIVING MY TRANS AM! I had always wanted a great sports car and had always admired the Firebird/Trans Am's so when the dream finally became reality I was like a new mother with her new baby. Nothing like that V-8 rumble and the way it handles when speeding down the interstate or around curves is awesome! Definitely the best car I've ever owned. A true shame that they are going to stop making them. What's up with that? By the way, I am a woman, yes a WOMAN who loves to drive FAST CARS!!

    2003 Pontiac Vibe - AWD

    Pros: COMFORT

    Cons: cheesy wheel covers

Advice: It is great! It is a family car...my husband says it is a total woman's car. it doesn't have a lighted vanity mirror though ladies :(

I love my VIBE! It is cute, handles well, and is super comforable. I am a little disappointed in the interior though. I would like to have leather but I guess you can't have everything. If I had to say one bad thing about it is that it came with wheel covers that are pretty cheesy and cheap looking. They are not very sturdy and will not last long.

    2002 Pontiac Montana - N16 FWD Passenger

Pros: radio controls on the steering wheel.

Cons: cup holders between the middle seats.

Advice: quad seating is the easiest for back row seating access. Manually adjustable seats are easier to adjust then the 6 way seating.

This is our second Pontiac Montana, having traded in 2000 for our current 2002. This was and in our opinion still is the only minivan on the market that feels like you are driving a car instead of a van. It doesn't look like a traditional 'kid' vehicle, has a sporty exterior, but a family friendly interior.

2003 Pontiac Vibe - Base FWD

    Pros: industrial dashboard configuration

Cons: the fact that I don't have one in every color....hah

    Advice: Just a gander...and you'll be sold

This is one amazing vehicle. It has everything and anything you could ever want. Its sleek and stylish yet not sports car looking. It handles wonderfully and i think it has very good power for the small-ish engine. I couln't be happier with any car. Its got this unique industrial look that is sure to not get outdated anytime soon, and it has these amazing amenities that most cars don't even offer. Like an in-dash 6 cd changer, and like 13 hidden compartments, and a wonderful sound system. I was completely sold on this from the second I saw it, and im so glad to now own it.

2003 Pontiac Vibe - Base FWD

    Pros: moon roof and room

    Cons: distinct lack of ponies

Advice: get one while you can, these are going to be hot

I approached the Vibe with suspicion. Having driven a 300 hp Chevy Caprice for the last 7 years gave pause. This was a small car by comparison, and I weigh 360 lbs. In this car I can get behind the wheel when the seat is postioned for my much shorter wife. The Vibe is deceiving. It has plenty of leg room, loads of head room, and an upright seating position that gives you an SUV feel. Even though this is a small car, it has more usable space than my much larger Caprice. Yesterday I carried 8 foot lumber with no trouble inside the car. I experienced some trouble mastering the washer/wiper controls, once squirting a car wash attendant with washer fluid while attempting to turn off the wipers. After that I spent some time to familiarize myself to them. The moon and tunes package is phenomenal, the sound system is more powerful than the motor. I realize now that my wife and I were not the target for the Vibe. I am 47 and definitely not the young crowd, we just wanted a station wagon. We drove a Taurus and I smacked my head getting into it, no good. Neither of us wanted a van, but we were drawn to the Vibe. It is an outstanding vehicle. Several people have come up to us and asked to look at the car. This is something I have never experienced before. It has looks, utility, comfort and economy, what a great little car!

2002 Pontiac Firebird - Trans Am Coupe

Pros: The power of the LS1.

Cons: The cold start piston slap in the LS1 that GM refuses to fix.

Advice: Get a written guarantee that they will FIX the car if it starts knocking after a few thousand miles.

All the published specs for this car are wrong. This is what this car is REALLY capable of: Showroom stock 12.9 @ 107 mph down the track. (2.03 60ft) 31 mpg on the highway 23 in town (light foot). The horsepower rating is too low. These cars are putting out the same power as the Vette. Dyno tests show 300-320hp at the wheels! Handles great! Hurst shifter is VERY nice! Awesome stereo for factory. There is no better sound than the rumble of a V8. This is the PERFECT performance car under $40K. Thank you GM for an awesome car! It is truly a shame you are no longer going to make them. This may be the last GM vehicle I ever buy. None of the others appeal to me at all.
