    2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 - FWD

Pros: The exterior body style & the black dashboard and door material.

Cons: The interior material (gray cloth) is horrible. Even water stains the seats. It is definately not a child friendly interior. The second row seats also have no arm rests, so child car seats and even adults tip over when you round a corner.

Advice: If I were to purchase this type of van again, I would only purchase a leather interior. I probably would not purchase this type of vehicle again. I am disappointed in it. I am anxious for the pull-ahead program!!

The van handles well. It is somewhat 'loud' for a minivan. We had to have the brakes replaced twice by 16,000 miles.

    2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 - FWD

    Pros: Interior design

Cons: Air vents only project straight forward. Driver and passenger only get air on sides of body.

    Advice: Great looking family van.

Has great pick up. Not so good gas milage compared to the 2000 montana. Front suspension is a little noisey but, so was the 2000.

    2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 - w/1SA AWD

    Pros: the room and looks

    Cons: haven't found anything yet

Advice: research all vehicals to make an educated desision

I loved it at first sight. It is the 2004 model. The ride is smooth, the engine has quite a bit of power, enough room for 6 in my family, runs quiet and everything operates as it should. I did get the extended warrenty just in case, but I would do that with any car. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!! Also we own a 95 Ford Taurus and a 86 ford ranger.

    2006 Pontiac Montana SV6 - FWD

Pros: Truck front end and dual sliding doors

    Cons: interior carpet

    Advice: Buy it

Replacing a 1991 minivan for company vehicle. More power with as good or better mileage. Modern design, including truck front engine compartment (looks less like a standard minivan, besides superior access to engine). Solidly built with good available power. In 6,000 miles and 6 months, it has performed flawlessly and dependably. Looks good and packs well on heavy (for a minivan) platform. Easy to park with good visibility and my wife will drive it. Lots of things a family vehicle would feature that I don't really use, like the built in DVD player, IR headphones, etc. The dual sliding doors are a godsend to me. The only thing I see as a negative is the quality of the seat material (I couldn't wait for the leather package, but STRONGLY recommend it), which is serviceable. The carpet is a bit cheap. Those are very minor concerns, and overall, I love this vehicle.

    2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 - w/1SA FWD

Pros: Roomy, nice appearance, good value & well built

Cons: some wind noise over 100mph

    Advice: Have confident

The SV6 is the best van appearance; front looks like an SUV and the interior is comfortable as a van. It drives like a car and have power as a truck. Same fuel economy as Mazda MPV, but double the size and power of the latter vehicle. I had it for five months and it has been wonderful. It gives lots of power on the highway and up Mt Everett. If it holds up for the next three years (problem Free)...it surely beats Toyota, Honda or Nissan's mini-Van by Value, Features and Quality. Important point, this van use regular unleaded fuel, many Japanese Van such as Nissan Quest required MORE EXPENSIVE premium unleaded to run. I am highly recommending it to you.

    2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 - w/1SB FWD

    Pros: all

    Cons: none

Advice: Best concept GM ever had. You can email anytimes for information. I am very confident.

I bought this vehicle in July. One of the best vehicle with no problem and best features. I owned two van prior to SV6: Caravan -2 new transmission & 3 water pump; Sienna -van broken down for new engine. This SV6 is very fuel efficient and give enough power on highway passing and uphill. Is a fun vehicle with lost of storage area and leg room. Unlike some Japanese brand only runs on EXPENSIVE premium fuel.

    2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 - w/1SB FWD

Pros: the appearence and dvd player

Cons: all the problems i've had

Advice: don't buy until bugs are fixed

This van has many problems. in the first month i had to take it back to get the ac charged twice. We had a problem with the sliding doors not opening at all or the automatic opener just didn't work. When the sliding door closes keep your kids hands out of there because it puts too much pressure before it stops. Also we have a noise when you accelerate and terrible amount of wind noise going down the road. Also we have had a new alternator put on and it still isn't charging right
