    2007 Pontiac G5 - Base

Pros: Clutch is very light and the shifter feels ver solid with nice short throws

Cons: Like I said, the trunk opening is way too small (trunk itself is huge though)

Advice: Get it. May not quite have the quality of a Mazda 3, but it it's a very nice car for the price.

I've just recently upgraded from a '98 Cavalier to a '07 G5 Coupe SE. So far I'm very pleased with the car. The only things I'm not to crazy about is the stupidly small trunk opening, I had to buy a smaller cooler. Also the arm rest gets in the way of the hand break and seeing out of the back is a lot harder then the Cavalier. Other then that, it's an absolutely beautiful car. It's great on gas and drives so much better then its predecessor.

    Pros: The sun roof

    Cons: I like everything

    Advice: It's definately worth it!!

I love it!! The only thing that was different for me was it seems to take a little longer to brake. I'm really glad I got one though.

    2007 Pontiac G5 - GT

Pros: A 4 cylinder engine with the torque and HP to support the auto. trans.

Cons: Waiting 2 days for the leather seats.

Advice: Deck this car out. With the extras this car feels like a luxury/sport sedan. You wont find one of those under 20K.

At well over 6 feet tall and weighing in at 250+ the first thing I noticed was the abundant leg, head and gut room. This little car truly impressed me with its ride, which was as stable and secure as any larger sedan I've driven, without that heavy car feeling. As for the curves in the road. Well this little coupe moves through them with more confidence then its competitors, the 8 or so I've driven anyway. The snappy little 2.4 litre engine makes me forget I'm driving on 4 cylinders. I even opted for the 4 speed automatic trans. I got everything on this car. The tunes, the leather, everything. I bought mine outright and my experience surrounding this vehicle has been steller.

    2007 Pontiac G5 - Base

Pros: Pioneer sound system with the XM radio

Cons: rearview hard to see out sometimes

Advice: Not a must to have any options, it comes nice as it is. Sport package is nice though.

Just got it and i love it. The pioneer sound system and the XM radio are great! Its cloth seats are suprisingly very comfortable, seat adjustment is nice, rear space is a little small but the angle of the seats make it usable. Great trunk space and with the 16' rims it looks like a mini- muscle car. Super fun to drive, accelleration not to bad. Only problems are the back is a little high which makes for a little bit of a blind spot but overall A+ car

    2007 Pontiac G5 - Base

    Pros: Black Tie Radio

Cons: Rear and Side vision from drivers seat

Advice: Get the air bags and abs, can't believe they sell cars without it.

We bought the first G5 sight unseen over the 4th of July Holiday and it arrived on 7/6/06. We are very pleased with the features offered standard and available options. The car has it's share of blind spots but is fun to drive and doing great on fuel so far at close to 30MPG for mostly in town driving. It's great value for the comfort and features available.
