2005 Nissan Titan - SE 4x4 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: the power.

    Cons: abs

Advice: this is a solid truck but do your homework for peace of mind.

I love my TITAN all these people's reveiws are weak, not giving credit were credit is due.I was always pro american truck but nissan stepped up with this one(truck of the year)all of you need to stop crying about a squeaky seat, noise in dash ,cracked windsheild ,and hello we all know about the brakes every body has bugs to work out.(I have had mine done also for the record)any real mechanical problems? not for me it is strong as an ox,and should last for a long time.check all the reveiws, you will just see more crying about the brakes.all you have to do is get behind the wheel and you will be impresed.one negative, nissans public relations is terrible.

2005 Nissan Titan - LE 4x2 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: Power

    Cons: Quality

Advice: Look some where else untill Nissan gives a damn

After driving Dodge Rams for 8 years I wanted to try somethig different.I drove the Titan and was blown away with its power, handling and sound system.I felt sure I could do no wrong with a Nissan but boy was I wrong! In less than 3000 miles the rotors have been turned twice the driver seat squeaks the left side glass and dash rattles as does the tailgate and the gas cap retainer broke. The truck was delivered with acid rain marks on the glass so it eats windsheild wipers but I was told that was a act of nature and it could not be covered.Should have stuck with Dodge!!

2005 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: the power pedals

    Cons: brake system

    Advice: look elsewhere

This truck has great power and I have loved it except for the brakes. There is an engineering defect in them that Nissan does not know how to fix and they do not have customer service as their priority. I've had the truck in 5 times in under 18,000 miles to have rotors turned and replaced along with the brake pads and calipers. I've recently submitted paperwork to the BBB under the lemon law to try to get them to repurchase the truck. Research the net well before buying, there are many out there like mine. I'm looking at Ford right now.

2004 Nissan Titan - LE 4x4 Crew Cab

    Pros: Navigation

    Cons: spray in liner

    Advice: Toyota

The rear differential leaked around 5000 miles. The spray in bed liner turned white / nissan did nothing. Have had problems with the sunroof. They replaced the brakes.

2005 Nissan Titan - LE 4x2 Crew Cab All Regions

Pros: Visibility in the front and backup sensors.

    Cons: The dealer.

Advice: Do your own research. I went to 3 dealers, all clueless about the features and accesories.

Drives more like a truck than my Chevy but the power is awesome.

2005 Nissan Titan - LE 4x4 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: Power

    Cons: Reliability

Advice: Buy a Toyota or Ford

This is the second Titan I owned. I purchased a 2004 and it was in the shop almost every month for problems ranging from electronics (dash - ignition). Windshield cracked. My service manager said I purchased a 'Monday Morning' truck. So stupid me --- I traded it on a 2005. Admittedly, the sales manager made me a great deal! 12,000 miles into it, my brake rotors are being turned for the second time ---- oh sorry ---- they are replacing them. BTW, Nissan will only replace the rotors after turning them three times. I had to call and grovel with Nissan Corporate to get them done on the second time. Guess Nissan doesn't care about the value of your time. Oh yeah, while servicing the brakes, the mechanic noted I had a bent rear axle. The truck is in the shop for another week awaiting parts. Can't believe it! I never towed anything and the heaviest thing I carried was a few boxes! I am fed up. This was my fourth Nissan truck and my last.... I am looking at a Tundra later this week.

2005 Nissan Titan - LE 4x4 Crew Cab All Regions

    Pros: the motor

    Cons: trouble from the start

    Advice: don't

My Titan has been in the shop 5 times now. I have had it 3 months. The 1st month the brakes went out. Then all heck broke loose. Noises from under the cab and while turning turned out to be the bolts holding it to the frame were broken. They replaced them without finding out why they broke when the same noise was heard they removed the cab again and added foam to stop the noise. Gee thanks $33,000 truck with a foam noise remover. The real problem is yet to been found let's see if it falls all the way off this time
