2007 Mitsubishi Galant - Ralliart (A5)
Pros: Sirius Radio
Cons: Trunk lid & wheel well backing
Advice: Make sure the dealer does the Diamond vehicle inspection before you take it. My dealer didn't even know about it.The most fun I've had driving since my '68' 340ci Dodge Dart GTS. Good looking and awesome radio and neat wheels. I hope that there are more regular Galant's sold than the Ralliart, I would like to be in the Ralliart special group. There are a couple drawbacks that I will hope to have fixed by my bodyshop/mechanic. The rear wheel wells have no plastic liner behind the wheels which allows you to see daylight through the wheels. Also they put light gray undercoat behind the front wheels which does not help the appearance. Trunk lid is unpadded and is very light and feels cheap. No power passenger seat sucks. Seat rails show and also look cheap. Taillights nead to be sealed at body seam to keep out moisture. Hood prop rod no hydraulic piston lifts.
2006 Mitsubishi Galant - ES
Pros: Mp3 and sound system
Cons: the grill
Advice: Go for itWhat a nice car to drive, fast when it needs to pass on the road and understated enough when I want to, I can see the surprised faces of Honda and Toyota owners. I bought mine used, only 6500 miles, and so very happy I did, I know that depreciation is an issue, but for me it suits me well, I put a lot of miles in my car, so I don t expect to sell it 3 years later for a lot of money, same would happen for a Honda or Toyota.
2005 Mitsubishi Galant - LS
Pros: No limit, they all are great.Love the blue on the dash, the leather, sunroof...The list goes on.
Cons: Haven't found anything yet.
Advice: If you want a sporty, powerful sedan...This is itI have a 05 ES/LS model. I have all the features of the ES model, but added the features of the LS model. This included sunroof, leather and v-6 package. This is the best car that I have owned. If you want power, this is the car. Will beat any car in its class when it comes to performance, and appearance. Whether you add 20' inch rims or leave the 17's on, this is the car that turn heads.
2006 Mitsubishi Galant - SE
Pros: auto headlights
Cons: Engine noise
Advice: Highly recommend it. Very solid and reliableI love the way this car drives. The transmission is very smooth, and has more than adequate acceleration, and the handling is great. The gas mileage for me has been averaging 24-mostly city driving. The galant is very comfortable for 4. The drivers seat is height adjustable. Controls are very logical and easy to reach. Fit and finsh is excellent. Most interior materials are good, but some of them seem cheap to me. I love the exterior looks. I had a sunroof installed, and this adds much to the looks. The exterior is easy to clean-not alot of hard to get into creases.
2003 Mitsubishi Galant - ES
Pros: the two lighted mirrors and the windshield that does not let glare bother when driving at night.
Cons: no ashtray, noisey a/c, cheap cloth interior
Advice: when a/c is on, passing is not as quick so calculate your distance well.I love the way it drives, love how easy it is to park in small tight spots, corners are fun to take.I pick this car used instead of a new dodge neon.
2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution - VIII (M5)
Cons: No cruise control
Advice: Hurry upBest car available period. Awd, turbo, 4 doors and can take a Ferrari around a corner. I bought mine in Nov and already have 21k on the clock. My only problem is staying out of the boost long enough to get 26 miles per gallon!!!
2004 Mitsubishi Galant - LS
Pros: The looks
Cons: The huge deppreciation in value
Advice: Make sure you really want itIt accelerates nicely. Hugs the curves like its nothing. Its a headturner where ever I am. Great infiniti sound system. Its pretty economical on gas... I get about 27/28 mpg and on the highway I gotten as good as 32 mpg and its a V6. The worst thing is the value drops tremedously. It makes refinancing nearly impossible. It also is pretty loud in the vehicle. I was spoiled by my prior Toyota vehicles.
