    2004 Mitsubishi Montero Sport - XLS 4x4

    Pros: The size

    Cons: Nothing

    Advice: Buy It!!!

The test drive went very well. I needed to do this in order to see if the truck fitted in my garage (which is sort of small) and when I backed it into the garage and it fit, I knew I wanted the truck!

    2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport - XLS 4x2

Pros: The lumbar support and height adjustment for driver seat

Cons: Side steps look cool but make it a little akward getting in and out

Advice: Do your research to make sure it's really what you want and need

Car is comfortable, drivers seat has lumbar support and height adjustment. The back seat has a center fold down for arm rest and drink holder, and another cool thing about the back seat is it reclines. Plenty of storage space, cargo room in the back is big with small compartments underneath the floor to store things like battery cables and tools. The all wheel drive is great in the snow, and the heater puts out plenty of heat. I've only had my Montero a month, but so far I've been happy with it.

    2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport - LS 4x2

    Pros: Quality and apperance

    Cons: power

Advice: If you are looking for a 4X4 on a truck frame this is the one

Great vehicle for overall driving in Alaska. The AWD is nice to have in addition to the 4h and 4L. This is the 3rd Mitisubishi I have owned.

2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport - LTD (EOP November 2002) 4x4

    Pros: Value

Cons: Rear Windshield Wiper in the up position when off

    Advice: Buy it at Carmax

I was originally shopping for a Jeep Liberty. When the Jeep dealership would not give me anything for my 1995 Rodeo, I went to Carmax to sell it. While there, I found out that I could buy a new MS LTD (list almost 33K) for the same price that Jeep wanted for the Liberty. No comparison! I bought the MS and haven't looked back

    2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport - LS 4x2

Pros: Comfortable ride, easy to get in and out.

Cons: Appearance package doesn't come with a rear cargo screen. Not enough cup holders.

Advice: Go with the 0/0, then refinance the loan when the interest hits. *Do not* buy gap insurance.

I've owned my sport for nearly a year now and for the most part -- I love it. Great ride, lots of pickup, lots of comfort, looks cool, good price. However, over the course of a *very* cold winter there were four mornings when she just didn't want to turn over. I've been to the dealer to have it looked at, but since they can't replicate the problem they can't identify it. Now it's spring and it will probably be another year before it happens again. Anyone else having similar problems?

2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport - LTD (EOP November 2002) 4x4

Pros: ALL WHEEL DRIVE and 5000 lb towing capacity.

Cons: No factory installed towing package.

Advice: Don't go by HP alone. This SUV has AWD and top notch quality.

I traded a 2001 Dakota Quad Cab and do not regret the decision. My wife and I find the Montero Sport to be more comfortable inside with a very good ride. We have traveled long distances with four adults with no complaints. The best feature this SUV has over the competition is the All Wheel Drive. You can also swith into 4H or 4L. We just had a blizzard with 24' of snow. I feel safe knowing my wife and kids are in this SUV!
