Cons: Hood has rod to hold it upRides like siting in your living room. GR8 on gas. Looks out standing!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Quiet ride
Cons: NAJust under 50,000 miles and never had to have anything fixed on it. Just normal maintenance. 22 mpg overall and highway as much as 28 mpg. It's a sin they will no longer make Mercurys.
Love My Mercury
Cons: nothingI have owned 4 Mercury Grand Marquis LS's in the past yrs. & have enjoyed all of them. I drove Ford LTD's for several yrs. but tried the Mercury & like them better. It is equipped with everything I need. The one I own now is a Arizona Beige color with tan interior & I'm seeking another one with less miles & a newer model.
Best Big Tank
Pros: smooth ride
Cons: windowsThis is my 4th Grand Marquis. My grandchildren call my cars the Grannymobile, however, the car is very comfortable on a trip ( I have sciatia nerve problem) and gets 27 mpg on the highway. I can fit 6 people with seatbelts and lots of luggage (oversized trunck). Problems: electric windows fail after a while. I had to put a new transmission in the 2000 model. Windows rolled down sluggishly from the beginning. I may not be happy with a smaller vehicle or one without comfortable bench seats.
Pros: Low cost of ownership
Cons: Sorry, there is nothing I do not like about this car! This auto was purchased used and has been one of the best auto I have owned in the 40 or so auto's I have owned in my life. Required little maintenance, parts are excellent, ride is supperior and I feel very safe in the auto.
This is a reliable car
Pros: tinted windows and leather seatswill get you in town or out with no problem
Good ride for the money
Pros: Comfort and drivability
Cons: The instrument cluster. I can't see the mileage indicator - a mistake in design.I have owned Lincolns for many years and this is my first ownership of a Mercury since the Sable days two decades ago. The car is very comfortable, with good cushioning in the seats. The mileage is very satisfactory and the quality, while not matching that of the Lincoln MKZ (for many thousands more) is acceptable. I recommend this car.
