Pros: gas mileage
Cons: QualityLess than 25k and tires need replacement, Also the Mazda3 had the following inherit problems: Overheated due to defective thermostat Loss of power steering due to defects in unit
worst quick pick
Pros: the outside body
Cons: drivers seat ergonomicsmy cadilac catera died. i needed a car fast. it was inexpensive. my drive to work one way in an hour. im average 5'10'. i hate the accelerator pedal and how close the center console causes my right leg to lay against very irritating feeling all the road vibrations. lots of road noise. stiff ride. ergonomics uncomfortable need to hunch over to hold the steering wheel after setting the seat for the pedal comfortability. the fix would be a telescope steering wheel. also slow get up and go. alway finding larger cars on my rear wanting to go.
Pros: Bose Stereo
Cons: Cheap carpet.Loved my Mazda 3 so I bought a CX-7. Really like it, don't love it. If fuel economy were better, I would like it better. However, when I look at other cars, for the price, it was a good value and won't trade at this time.
Hybrid warranty and repair not available at Ford
Pros: 32 mpg
Cons: A/C demands a lot of gas to runI bought the hybrid Tribute in the Mazda limited production program in 2008 in CA. Now, Ford does not honor its commitment to Mazda for hybrid repairs, especially outside CA. I was stranded in Ft Lauderdale because no Ford dealer would use its budget to diagnose and repair the defective hybrid power train part. In fact, I was told repeatedly by Mazda and Ford that no such car existed. I bought with the assurance that Ford would provide the hybrid repairs nationally using the Ford Escape hybrid techs. This car is a lemon and never should have been sold. I do not trust Ford anymore and would never buy a hybrid from them.
Pros: Body style
Cons: No low end tourqeGood economic sports car. Great body style and interior design. Rotary motor provides good high end speed but limited tourqe in low rpm.
Sharp and reliable
Pros: smooth power delivery
Cons: recommended to use premium fuelNice curb appeal; seems to have the Mazda reliability I have become accustomed to in my previous 3 Mazdas: the turbo 4 engine performs well.
Lots of fun in a 4 door sedan
Cons: back seat room...I really like my 05 Mazda 6, it's quite peppy even though acceleration is a bit harsh and the 6 speed auto transmission is great even though I didn’t like it at first but now I’m a convert. Braking and handling are very good for a car this size, but it is a front wheel drive and you can only do so much with FWD. My only complaint would be a little more interior room, my boys are now in their teens and getting tall enough to be a bit cramped in the back seat…
