Pros: Leather seating
Cons: Being left at the lights
Advice: Drive one before you buyI was disappointed in the acceleration of this car. The turning circle and the brakes are excellent. No zoom zoom though.
Pros: Engine performance for the cost
Cons: trunk liner fit
Advice: If you do not care about having fun driving buy a camryTorque steer is almost non-existent. Burned rubber up to third gear when I stomped hard on the gas. Tires more than 18 inches would be better from a 0-60 standpoint. 110MPH on highway and still accelerating at a good rate. Backed off as the car only has 200 miles on it. Excellent passing for a passenger car. Have a CX-9 and I knew the same engine in the Mazda6 would be a lot of fun and I am not disappointed. Great V6 engine and handling is good but a bit stiff. Disappoined with the fit, especially liner in trunk. Bose speakers and moonroof. Plent of leg room for two teenagers in the back. I am 6' with long legs
Pros: Stylish exterior and great power.
Cons: The back seat could have a little more room.
Advice: Test drive other cars as well, but its hard to say no to the Mazda6I love this car!! Its got a sexy look to it, aggressive power under the hood and drives/handles like a dream. I got a 4 cylinder manual transmission along with all of the bells and whistles and I have never looked back. I have owned this car for a month and I still continue to crack a smile every time I get behind the wheel. The car is extremely responsive and hugs corners like no other car in its price range. I test drove several other cars, but they simply did not match up to what Mazda could offer. Get a Mazda6 if you really want to have fun driving!
Pros: I'am impressed by the smoothness of the ride the car delievers.
Cons: It could have more power.
Advice: Just try to get your best price on the car you can.You get a lot of car and features for the price.. It's a great little car!
Pros: The look
Cons: The transmission and service
Advice: STAY AWAY!! Go for the V6 Altima if you want something comparableBought a 2007 Mazda 6 GT V6 in June 2007.. this car is an absolute piece of garbage. The transmission stinks, the car has no pick up, it jerks on gear changes, the quality and workmanship of the car inside and out is horrendous. The car has been in the shop 5 times in 2 months, I am on my 2nd rim and 3rd tire in the front. I bought the car with 2 defective rims. The service from the dealer in Toronto has been well below par, as has Mazda Canada. I want a refund. I will never buy another Mazda again. A terrible car and a terrible experience!
Cons: They no longer offer the package I got. They changed the models available. I'd have to get a Speed6 to get what I want IF I had to replace my car.
Advice: Buy it, you won't regret it!I got this car in September, 2006. I typically get bored with cars quickly, but I still get a smile on my face when I drive my Mazda. It drives like a dream, not to mention it's sexy. My husband just purchased a Speed3. IF I ever had to replace my 6 sport I would get a Speed6. Mazda has taken my breath away with these cars. I love them, we are definately a loyal Mazda family!
Pros: trans engine combination nearly perfect combination
Cons: quality of weatherstrip and door seals
Advice: buy if economy/ performance balance desiredHave just short of 5000 miles on a 2007 4 cyl automatic. Have been getting 26 mpg plus around town. Only real dissatisfaction comes with wind noise - a whistle caused by inadequate seal of the outside mirror bezel and a poor design and seal to the windshield header. Whistle now corrected with additional sealing, but still too much noise because flow past windshield header interupted by deep trough design. Also whistle from high speed heater blower corrected by proper sealing of the cabin filter element.
