    2002 Lexus GS 300 - Base

    Pros: looks

    Cons: noises.....

    Advice: none

When I first test drive this vehicle I fell in love and purchase the vehichle right away. After a year exactly I'm having problems with this vehicle lots of noises under the car. I went to dealer ask them why this car creates lots of noise. What they did is lubricate joints and etc. Still having problem went back to dealer to check them and they said it strut on right is bad and they have to order them from Japan. I question why they will only replace Right Strut? After 1 month my strut arrived and they replaced them, but the problem still there. so when back to again and they order the left strut for another month. I am still waiting for schedule appointment which is very very hard or long wait....... I wish I should ask my neighbors first before considering buying this expensive vehicle with poor customer service, poor diagnostics and long waits to fix a warranty parts.

    2002 Lexus ES 300 - Base

Pros: exterior and interior styling and navigation system

Cons: that I could not buy the car with the navigation system without purchasing the mark levinson audio package

Advice: Be patient/ dealer will deal on the car

The interior is extremely quite. In fact, at times, when stopped at a traffic light, I look to see if the car is still on because you don't hear the noise of the engine. I really notice the difference driving in other cars/SUVs. The interior is very comfortable and the navigation system is outstanding.

    Pros: very quiet interior

Cons: lazy acceleration, needs more power.

Advice: Top notch car if you are not looking for the performance of an Audi or BMW.

Luxurious ride, separates you from the road. Very rich and elegant interior. Comfortable leather seats. Handles and brakes very well but lazy acceleration.Overall a very well designed car.

    2002 Lexus SC 430 - Base

    Pros: convertible

Cons: the seats in the back

Advice: buy this car because it will be the best thing that happens to you.

I bought the new Sc430 and I must say it takes the cake. The steering is just wonderful and I love the hard top convertible. The seats are very comfortable and everyone just stares in awwww. I highly recommend this car for everyone.

    2002 Lexus ES 300 - Base

    Pros: Comfort

Cons: Hard to read guages because of red pointers on a black background

Advice: Buy it and you will love it. Search until you find a dealer willing to bargain.

Great Car. I replaced my 1997 ES300 with a 2002 Lexus ES300. Lexus has added many creature comforts to this car. The fit and trim is excellent. The car is roomy and quiet. However, I have two complaints. The car sometimes hesitates and flutters upon acceleration. Also, the guages are sometimes difficult to read in the sunlight because the pointers are red on a black background. The Lexus engineers should have known better. My Saturn has white pointers on a black blackground and provides great contrast.
