    2010 Lexus IS 250C

    My new car

    Pros: Hard top convertible

Cons: no truck space when the top is down

I just purchased a new 2010 Lexus 250- IS C and it is not only the prettiest car I've ever had; it rides and drives like a dream. It is very comfortable, smooth riding, quiet to the ends and pretty riding down the road. I also enjoy the special attention given when I go back to the local dealership when I need work or a simple car wash.

    2003 Lexus SC 430

    Long Term Review - SC430

    Pros: Bullet-proof reliability

    Cons: Seating and performance

Wanted a 'sports coupe with some luxury'. It delivered somewhat on the luxury, but 'sport' is nowhere to be found in the SC430. Floaty suspension, numb handling, terrible throttle response, and quite possibly the worst seats offered by a premium make. Rear seat should be removed - really only a package shelf. Anemic engine output for such a heavy car. Overall, a reliable but unfulfilling ride.

    2005 Lexus SC 430 - Base

    Pros: Convertible

Cons: Quality issues will be not be resolved and honored by the Lexus teams.

    Advice: Do Not buy Lexus.

I will never buy a Lexus again. I will reccommend to my friends NOT to buy a Lexus either! The reason, the warranty! I had the brand new vehicle for 3 months off the show room. Since day one, it could not start on its own. The batterry was never recharged after I drove it or let the car run for 30 minutes. When I brought it to the Lexus dealer in Wilmington, Delaware, they said my IC computer was fried and it was not a warranty problem. Needless to say, this will be the last Lexus that I own. Be sure that everyone I know will know of this Lexus quality problem.

    2003 Lexus SC 430 - Base

Pros: Stand out sculpture styling (not for the status quo buyer), Made in Japan rock solid Quality, Gorgeous Interior, Beast Motor, best stereo on market...it simply has to be heard to be believed, lots of looks from the plebs and SUV lemmings.

Cons: Seats should have more lateral support and bottom seat cushion stitch seams are too thick also cup holder not deep enough and wipers are too slow.

    Advice: A great value.

This is the best car I've owned...and currently I own two Mercedes (E3204Matic Wagon & C280). The car has an anvil like feel and the engine power never seems to end. The high-end quality of the interior and its overall fit and finish are much superior to Mercedes...which seems to have gone down hill in the past several years (lots of ill fitting plastic and visits to the mechanic). Also, my 11 month and 3 year old's car seats fit in the back seat quite well for weekend drives to the Beach.

    2003 Lexus SC 430 - Base

    Pros: Hardtop convertible

    Cons: Steering sensitivity

Advice: If you get one, get the silver or the 'sand' colors since those paint jobs are by far the most eye catching. The car looks hideous in black, and the red version looks like a Miata.

This is hands down the most pleasurable sports car I've ever driven. Smooth, quiet, and powerful, and it gets a lot of attention as you drive down the road. My only beef is that the steering could be tighter - it's got the loosest steering of any sports car I've owned.
