    2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Overland 4x4

    Pros: The improved suspension.

Cons: No choice of interior color.

    Advice: Take a test drive!

We purchased the Overland last September and have done a lot of long-distance traveling in it. It is extremely comfortable and drives well. A nice added feature is the split rear door/window so that the rear space can be accessed from the window lift. It looks beautiful and drives and rides even better. It's suspension and pick up is wonderful. Love everything about the vehicle.

    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x2

    Pros: The Infinity speakers

Cons: the possibility of roll over

Advice: Make sure this is the right vehicle for you.

It drives great, looks good! It does make a strange noise when at an idle. You can feel it in the floor board and you can also hear it. We checked 2 others and they did the same thing. It drives like a Jeep, stiff suspension. For me, very fun, for Grandma and Grandpa, maybe not. When thinking about purchasing one of these, remember that these SUV's are Jeeps and perform like one.

    2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Overland 4x4

Pros: The Tire sensor in the panel.

Cons: The setup menu on the cluster is too easy to activate.

Advice: Enjoy all of it! Don't just ride on the road, it's a great 4x4 - use it!

The 2002 has improved pickup, suspension, and handling. Feature comforts are excellent and ergnomics have been much improved from the 1997.

    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x4

    Pros: over all quality

    Cons: height

    Advice: drive, buy, enjoy

Liberty Sport 4x4 construction appears to be exellent, for instance the steel wheels only have .o1o' radial and axial runnout. It traverses foot deep ditches & 45 deg. banks with ease.Gas mileage first 500 mi. was 17 in town 17 highway. Roof and seats could'a been a little lower I like it. Norm

    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x2

Pros: The price and it's good looks.

    Cons: Gas mileage

Advice: Go buy this Jeep now!!!

Drive everything else first then drive the LIBERTY, you will love it. On second thought drive the LIBERTY first, you won't drive anything else. It's looks are second to none. Gas mileage could be a little better but it's performance is great.

    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x2

Pros: Controls on the back of the steering wheel.

Cons: That it stays in the shop more than at my house.

    Advice: Have deep pockets.

When I test drove the vehicle it seemed to be the perfect thing. I love the way it looks and basically drives. the only problem I have with it is that is jumps when I go to stop, it idles rough, and I have already had to recalls on it. It just keeps getting better and better. Everytime it goes to the shop they just say we don't know what's wrong we tested everyone of them on the lot and they all do it.

    2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x4

    Pros: Power & Roominess

    Cons: Gas Mileage

Advice: If you want good gas mileage get a car, if you want a SUV with good room & power get the Liberty.

I test drove several small SUV's and none had the power that the Liberty did. The ride on the open road is great; however, on the side roads it was a little bouncy, & I expected that from a SUV. The head room, leg room & cargo space is quite sufficient, more that I expected. Other SUV's may have better gas mileage but you have to make sacrifices sometime to get what you want.
