Pros: Comfort and Sport suspension settings
Cons: Less than refined power window mechanism
Advice: Great price and top notch quality inside and outFor a mere $25,000 the Isuzu is the best bargain for a modern day SUV. There are many SUV's in the same price range but cannot beat Isuzu's power and space. This is a roomy SUV that does not require you to climb ladders to get in. The superior interior quality and fit & finish is surprising for vehicle at this price range. The standard model includes CD changer, AC and power windows and mirrors. The adjustable suspension is another great feature that allows driver to adjust firmness of the suspension to their liking. With 230 horse powers, the engine propel this SUV in less than 8 seconds from 0 to 60. This is also a SUV that can reach 100mph - 120 mph safely and with ease. This is also the coolest looking SUV on the market. If you like a quite SUV with many standard features, this is the one for you.
Pros: Truck with a convertible feel
Cons: customer service, overall performance of engine
Advice: DO NOT BUY ANY ISUZU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I really liked my car when I first purchased it. It was sport and felt like a truck and a convertible in one! But since I started having trouble with my car, my opinion of my car and IZUSU has changed dramatically! I started having problems over 6 months ago. Some of the problems are as follows: I have has to have my engine reprogrammed 3 times due to my automatic transmission stalling while driving. I had a gas leak that took them 2 times to find, in the meantime, causing nosebleeds for my family. I have a soft top that leaks. The dealer did replace the top, but refuses to replace the windows, that are too small and leak still. I have had broken CD player, broken hanles and lose wring in my speakers! THE WORKE THING IS, I FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST IZUSU WITH THE BBB AND HAVE BEEN IN THEIR PROGRAM FOR OVER 4 MONTHS! EVEN THOUGH MY CAR CLEARLY QUALIFIES UNDER THE LEMON LAW, ISUZU IS STILL REFUSING TO FOLLOW THE LAW BY REPLACING OR REPURCHASING MY VEHICLE! ISUZU OFFERS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WOULD NOT TAKE ANOTHER ISUZU IF IT WAS OFFERED TO ME FOR FREE! THE TROUBLE I HAVE BEEN THROUGH WITH THEM IS NOT WORTH ANY CAR! DO NOT EVER BUY AN ISUZU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: 'Torque on Demand' and the low range
Cons: Some of the power window switches don't light up.
Advice: If it fits your needs you can't beat the quality for the price. After reading every review I could find on the Axiom comparing them with just about every other small SUV for at least a year, I finaly test drove one. Then I bought one. All the negatives mentioned in about 50% of the reviews are almost not worth mentioning. Nothing can touch it in pricing, and it still has a real low range transfer case! Performance is outstanding.
Pros: 4WD, Hight Rims Tires wide steering wheel rotation
Cons: No Sun Roof
Advice: A good amount of SUV for the moneyFun and exhilarating at first but day to day commute sucks.
Cons: Extremely high cost of sheduled maintaince every 15
Advice: Only purchase if you drive city and LOW mileageDisappointing. poor pickup, rough ride and vibration at high speed, very poor gas mileage
Pros: Very quiet ride
Cons: Comfort setting for suspension is only good for the highway
Advice: Buy it, you will not be disappointed. Excellent warrantyNew in June 2002. One long trip of 2000 plus miles, and almost 3500 overall. I read all the complaints regarding truck like ride, low gas mileage, etc. Bull, this is a vehicle built on a truck chassis, so yes it does not ride like a car. However, it is well mannered and not really trucklike in its ride. I wanted something with all wheel drive and a low range for the dirt roads of the southwest where I like to vacation. This is the quietest car I have owned. Planned to use it as my service truck, but now is the preferred car for everything but business. The RAV4 I own is now the service truck. MPG -- a solid 20 mpg average on the trip, 18 around town. Even my mechanic was impressed when he had it up on the lift, said it had great fit and finish and showed obvious quality control. Cold weather now and I assure you the heated leather seats are great. Yes, the dealer will deal --- got mine for 24,500. Would I buy it again --- oh, yes.
Cons: REAR SUSPENSION WITH FULL LOAD ( BOUNCY )
Advice: JUST BUY ITI love this vehicle. I am a real estate agent and have never heard a complaint about comfort. Customers get in and think they are in a 40 thousand plus SUV. I get comments ( positive ) every where I go in this. I got rid of a Lexus GS 300 and bought this and I am very happy. I would like to see the rear suspension a little more refined though. I find myself putting it in sport mode when I have a full load.
