Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: The look( Titanium Silver Exterior) from a 45 degree angle.
Cons: Handling. Maybe its because its a SUV.
Advice: If you get the Titanium silver exteriorThe vehicle accelerates pretty well for a SUV. The engine is quiet. Sometimes, in park, I would forget that the engine is on. The car feels like it has some sort of weight sensor. In other words, its 240hp was there when driving up hill with four passengers. Some cars would make you push the gas petal all the way to do the job. The QX4 does have a smooth gear shift. Sometimes you are unaware that you are going 80 when it feels like you are at 65. The AC is confusing at times. The QX4 does have memory seats(front only) and can adjust electronically high or low, back or forth to fit all types of people.
Pros: GPS/Cameras on premium package
Cons: some of the less expensive interior dressings and knobs
Advice: Go to the premium package, you moneys worth is truely thereI feel after giving the q45 a chance to show me whats its about, it equally matched all expectations for a powerful luxury sedan and beat my before thoughts in other areas. The new finely tuned 340hp v-8 lets the some-what light q45 leap off the starting line for fun acceleration, although letting little noise or vibration into the cabin. On the side it is comfortable enough to take a 2k mile trip and not even know it. It also comes with many features suck as power/heated seats, sunroof, cruise control/distance sensors, anti-lock brakes/333ft lb of tourque, leather, computer monitors uck as maintenance and tire pressure, and optional back-up cameras and GPS. Very few people realize the effort and money that was put into the Infiniti Company over the last fews to present the all new and redesigned q45.
Pros: the engine, smooth and refined, powerfully responsive
Cons: exterior styling may be a touch conservative, could ride a little smoother on rough pavement
Advice: don't buy an extended warrantySmooth and refined transmission with more than enough reserve power upon demand to pass up most vehicles on the road. The engine of the I35 is awesome, silent under crusing conditions. As expected from Infiniti, the fit and finish of the vehicle are superb with excellent interior materials used. I specifically like the CD changer / sound system and am especially fond of the heated steering wheel living near Lake Tahoe where the temps are oftendip below freezing. Like it's brother (the maxima) the I35 has not disappointed me with its reliability having not even a minor defect noted in over 5,000 miles of driving. I am impressed with Infiniti's confidence with this vehicle as they warrant it to a level 10,000 miles greater than other luxury competitors (to 60 K). On a value scale the I35 comes with many options are is priced very attractively to its competitors.
Pros: Too many to list; I think the combined package as a whole.
Cons: A little harshness in the ride, which later turned out to be tires very much unevenly inflated.
Advice: Take your checkbook. To drive it is to love it.After looking at many others, most of which had higher price tags, the I35 won, hands down. Is to me a perfect blend of sport and luxury. I'm particularly impressed by the overall quality, even in places that aren't obvious. It's clear that someone had great pride in the workmanship of this vehicle. I feel great pride in my ownership of it. I think it's the one I'll finally keep for many years to come.
Pros: Ride and Handling
Cons: This car has the Navigation system (have to by total of 9 discs to cover total USA ) (The G35 and Q45 Use a DVD 1 discs for the USA)
Advice: There is No Better Buy with all the goodiesThis is my second Infiniti I had a 2001 I30T ( which was fully loaded) that was hit in the rear and was totaled. The hole rear was gone. The passenger compartment was not hurt, only the rear window was damaged, I looked at nothing but a new Infiniti and picked the 2002 I35 over the new G35 I like the front wheel drive ,The new Infiniti has a lot more power and many up dated features In The year 2002 I did not consider any other vehicle In 2001 I did look at others as listed below .
Cons: undersurface engine oil cover
Advice: best car for price in the market todayExcellent handling, great ride.Great acceleration.
Pros: the Bose sound system
Cons: nothing really?
Advice: Get the sport model. and make sure to get the nav systemThis car is wonderful. It is a pleasure to drive. I just love to watch the tachometer sweep to the redline, and hearing the growl of the V8. The Q45 is so luxurious and high quality. the wood is amazing and i love the smooth leather. the ride of the q is as smooth as can be though it is still firm enough for precise handling.I love it!
