    2005 Infiniti Q45 - Base

    Pros: Jewel like 340HP V8

    Cons: Poor Resale

Advice: Drive one before you buy anything else

This is one fantastic automobile! I have no idea why they don't sell more. It has more luxury, performance, technology and creature comforts than cars from BMW, Mercedes and Lexus, for many thousands of dollars less. I really love this car and I also like the fact that I don't see myself coming and going. Actually I'm glad they don't sell more - I have the exclusivity of a much more expensive car and I got a fantastic deal. I just love it when I blow the doors off the many BMWs in my neck of the woods. I have even managed to embarass a kid in his Mustang GT!

    2005 Infiniti Q45 - Base

    Pros: Nice Wood

    Cons: RESale value and Ride

    Advice: Avoid like the plauge

I got a good deal on it. It was MSRP 62k. I got it for 54k no problems. That should have told me something. It was not what I really wanted. I tried to save money and should have gotten what I really wanted, a LS 430. This car is smallish on the inside and wobbles like crazy on these skinny tires I did not want. The car is fast and seems well built but I couldn't stand looking at it after 2 months. I tried to trade it in and got offered 34k for iT!!!! It is BRAND NEW!!! After the research I have done, Infiniti has the WORST resale and the Q45 is the worst. It may be discontinued. I took the hit and drove home in my LS 430 Ultra.

    2003 Infiniti Q45 - Premium

Pros: Navigation, rear camera, engine - too hard to pick one

    Cons: No complaints

    Advice: Shop

I love my Q. I was originally attracted to the 340 HP engine but am very pleased with every aspect. I'm 20K miles into it and had two minor warranty items. One was an annoying rattle in the front vents and the other was with an interior piece. The local dealership in Houston is excellent although they were not willing to deal. I bought the vehicle from a dealer on ebay and had it trucked in. I saved about $15K off of MSRP. I have no remorse for buying this vehicle.

    2002 Infiniti Q45 - Base

    Pros: GPS/Cameras on premium package

Cons: some of the less expensive interior dressings and knobs

Advice: Go to the premium package, you moneys worth is truely there

I feel after giving the q45 a chance to show me whats its about, it equally matched all expectations for a powerful luxury sedan and beat my before thoughts in other areas. The new finely tuned 340hp v-8 lets the some-what light q45 leap off the starting line for fun acceleration, although letting little noise or vibration into the cabin. On the side it is comfortable enough to take a 2k mile trip and not even know it. It also comes with many features suck as power/heated seats, sunroof, cruise control/distance sensors, anti-lock brakes/333ft lb of tourque, leather, computer monitors uck as maintenance and tire pressure, and optional back-up cameras and GPS. Very few people realize the effort and money that was put into the Infiniti Company over the last fews to present the all new and redesigned q45.

    2002 Infiniti Q45 - Base

    Pros: the Bose sound system

    Cons: nothing really?

Advice: Get the sport model. and make sure to get the nav system

This car is wonderful. It is a pleasure to drive. I just love to watch the tachometer sweep to the redline, and hearing the growl of the V8. The Q45 is so luxurious and high quality. the wood is amazing and i love the smooth leather. the ride of the q is as smooth as can be though it is still firm enough for precise handling.I love it!

    2002 Infiniti Q45 - Base

Pros: The navigation system... wait, the 300 Watt Bose Audio system!

Cons: A slow Lexus ahead of me.

Advice: If you want a car that is similar, you can pay $80k and buy a Mercedes S600 or pay $50 k and buy a Q. Your choice.

Test Drive?... we've owned our Premium Package New Q for about 7 months now and it has been PERFECT. A Luxury car with amazing performance. Yes out in the lonley roads of West Texas, over a long weekend, we easily cruised at 150 MPH which the car reached quickly, but wouldn't exceed because of electronic governing. It certainly had more to give. After about 10 minutes we slowed down to a leasurly 130. Wow what fun! Glad the cops were eating doughnuts..

    2002 Infiniti Q45 - Base

    Pros: 340hp engine

Cons: Air conditioning is weak by S. Texas standards.

    Advice: Shop and compare!

The 'European' sports sedan feel that Infiniti is noted for (vs. the 'Cadillac' feel of the Lexus) took a beating on the new Q45 because of a very noticable hesitation problem, a real shame in a car with 340hp!! Fortunately, Infiniti has a factory fix for this (new gas pedal and electronics), but so far you have to ask for it to get it. The car performs exceptionally well after the 'fix', and remains the best value in a luxury sport sedan. The Bose radio finally lives up to expectations--they added a whoofer in the back. AC in the seats would be a nice add-on, but isn't available.
