    2003 Infiniti G35 - Luxury Leather (A5) Sedan

    Pros: Acceleration

    Cons: Brakes

Advice: Ask about the noisy brakes before purchase

The car has great looks, acceleration, handling, transmission, and overall well designed interiors. For the price, its a good deal. However, Infinity needs to address the totally unacceptable braking noise. I bought the car in 2003 brand new and the brakes have squeaked from week one. I have been told, now after the purchase, that the noisy brakes are normal when initially starting the car. Also, I have been told that the brake pads have a larger percentage of metal and this produces the noise. However, the truth is that I don't buy this. The noisy brakes are not acceptable from a top of the line car from a premium brand.

    2005 Infiniti G35 - (A5) Sedan

Pros: No Key Start and Auto seat adjust

Cons: Expensive sticky 245/45 18 tires

    Advice: Go get it

I've had my G for 2 months. I love this car. Equiped with AT/sport package and premium group B ( No key to start cool) Handles well acceleration is thrilling. Comfort is great. I traded My 04 Rx8. I loved driving my Rx but it just couldn't cruise bellow 90. Also, it has a terrible rear blind spot after 3 accidents in reverse I got out of it. I feel the quality and construction of the G is far superior to cheap Rx8 plastic

    2005 Infiniti G35 - (A5) Coupe

Pros: the overall ride and handling.

    Cons: Nothing.

Advice: Just drive it and you'll buy it.

The test drive was awesome. We took it out in the winter with about a foot of snow and the salesman told me to take it to an empty parking lot. He then told me to stop the car and floor it, which I did. Initially the rear wheels began to spin and the car moved to one side at the rear. Then the Auto Vehicle Control took over and powered the engine down and we just idled away in full control.

    2005 Infiniti G35 - (A5) Sedan

Pros: Sport car like performance with sedan utility.

Cons: Poor gas mileage and paint finish.

Advice: Shop around. There appear to be a fair number of 2004 sedans and coupes in the auto traders at decent prices.

I purchased the car about in January 2005 and have put about 7,000km on it. My car is has the 6 speed MT which has been a blast to use, however the gear ratios are very close which means a lot of shifting, although you can run the car at about 60kph in 5th gear for better gas mileage. Talking of gas mileage, this car has not been getting anything near what has been advertised. Around town I am getting about 19mpg and on the highway it has been around 23mpg. Perhaps this is due to the engine being tight and new. I have noticed some slight improvement in the mileage. The car is fun to drive however I would strongly recommend putting snow tires on during the winter. I put Blizzaks on which made the world of difference here in Canada. The brakes took some getting use to as they are very touchy, but are they ever effective! I haven't been too impressed with the paint finish as you can notice lots of swirl marks in certain light. All in all I am happy with the car.

    2005 Infiniti G35 - (A5) Sedan

    Pros: Performance/handling

    Cons: Local dealer service committment

Advice: Research your dealer's service dept./committment. You will love the car if you can get reliable service on it

I love this vehicle. The performance/handling of this car is unbelievable. I really like all the unique features on this car. Unfortunately I would have to rate my local dealer very poor in the service experiences I have had thus far on my G35. Unless my service experiences improve it is unlikely that I will purchase another Infiniti/Nissan product in the future.
