Pros: So far it's the trunk inside the bed
Cons: The blind spot over the driver's right shoulder
Advice: You'll need to be extra careful in reverseNice. I've been driving a Mazda B-4000 stick for several years, the Ridgeline is a little bit of heaven.
Pros: In bed locking trunk for additional storage
Advice: Buy it you'll love itGreat pickup that doubles as a family car too. Very great features, love the in trunk bed storage. Very comfortable rear seats and great Honda features.
Pros: Interior, ride, trunk
Cons: Gas milage
Advice: Shop around to find the best dealHad it for 6 weeks, everything it has promised so far. Perfect for a family, maybe not for real truck work. Drives like a lux SUV.
Pros: The trunk
Cons: no telescoping steering wheel
Advice: Shop aorund for the best dealsBest truck I have ever owned, drives like a sports car on windy roads . Excellent on long drives , got nearly 20 mpg at 70 mph plus and 15 to 16 city driving . Wonderful acceleration . Carried 1000 pounds in the bed and it did not show.
Advice: Drive and enjoyI call the Ridgeline an 'SUT'(sport utility truck). It has the convience and comfort of an SUV plus the versatility of a pick-up. The sound system is awsome as well as the lay out of the gauges and controls located on the steering wheel.
Pros: storage/cargo options
Cons: no manual transmission
Advice: I went with the basic model, the various electronics weren't worth the extra fcouple thousand but maybe leather seats are worth itLove smoooth ride, safety features and all the storage. The look grows on you but seems ackward at first. Handles snowy mountain drives with ease. All the features I needed were on the base model and got it for just $430 over invoice! I had been looking at the Nissan Frontiers and Toyota Tacomas and neither had as much room in the back seat and to get an equivalent Toyota or Nissan you have to add various power window/lock packages, 4WD, sports packages etc. Honda makes it easy. The only real differences between the different models are the in-cab features. My only complaint was that they don't offer manual transmissions. Its probably not as good for offroading as the Nissans or Toyotas but the ride is much smoother.
Pros: Layout of cab, trunk, real 4 doors, great back seats, lots of room, very easy to upgrade yourself Honda did a great job of thinking ahead
Cons: CD changer.. what a waste, would be great if it played MP3 cds, as well as have an Aux jack
Advice: Don’t buy extras at dealer look on line much cheaper, Honda did a great job of creating PDF's on how to do stuff, as well as they thought ahead. All of the ridgelines are the same truck just some have more extras than others.. All wiring is already thereBought SUT three weeks ago, love it Could have better gas mileage so far only getting 15+ Dealer was great paid $26300 out the door for my RTS. that incuded tax, tags, delivery etc.... Bought my RTS at Fairfax Honda in Fairfax VA, great dealership will buy from them again and againand again..... cool thing is all models are the same except of the extras they have, by that i mean if you want to add a dimming rear mirror its easy harness is already there.. Stuff like that Great PDFs on the web on how to do anything to the truck... Great job Honda...
