Pros: Dry Storage area in bed of truck
Advice: Buy accessories outside the dealership. Most are easy to install and cheaper. It may not have the sound of a V8 but it passes them by like no other Truck that I have seen. The dry storage area for the truck can hold up to 60lbs of ice and at least three cases of beer. :)
Pros: Rear Trunk
Cons: Fit finish and Power
Advice: If you want a truck buy a real truckI have an 06 model and it's a cute little truck!! Much more like a car, because it won't tow anything bigger than a golf cart trailer, and even that it gears down into low on most hills. I have had it stuck twice without really trying. I traded a 03 Avalance on this thing, and am in the process of going back to an 07 Avalanche. As for overall gas mileage, I get about 19 MPG per imperial gallon, not much better than the 03 Avalanche at 18. The fit and finish can't hold a candle to the Avalanche. Road noise is much worse, and you feel every bump.
Pros: In bed trunk, dual tailgate, gas milage vs. V8's, rear window, ALOT OF CUPHOLDERS!! BAHAHAHAH!!!!
Cons: Not so bright Dealerships(it dont matter if your 21 or 71, if i want to buy this show it)
Advice: Whats good for me might not be the best for you. Go test one out. And feel what a Honda Ingenuity is:)Like a car with nice easy U turn radius. Handles like a truck should. Brake assist is excellent, no jerking when you slam your brakes. Independent supension should be a STANDARD with any other trucks(then again, it kinda seperates us from a normal truck) 2007 RTX w/towing package makes it a breeze to add the brake control. Comes with the FACTORY CHROME GRILL!! :0 :) Another addition to my HONDA family.
Pros: power rear window, in bed trunk
Cons: Tonneau cover is awkward, and driver area is tight
Advice: THIS IS NOT A FULL TRUCK.I have been a big Ford guy for the past 10 years, owning everything from Ranger to Sporttrac to F150. While I was waiting for the 2006 Ford Sporttrac to hit the streets, I was studying up on the Honda, and I am glad I did because the Sporttrac was a flop!! It is awful for fuel, and the interior is very gawdy. So, I bought the Honda Ridgeline, and I am happy. It drives like a car, quick yet comfortable, but yet has some features of many trucks. The in bed trunk is pretty cool, and the rear seat is very roomy. However, I have yet to call it a truck, more a 'MAN VAN'. It drives well, but is weak in payload and hauling.
Pros: The trunk-I love having the space of a car and the ability of a truck as well!
Cons: I wish the guages were all digital
Advice: BUY IT!I purchased this truck brand new and didnt even test drive it. The first weekend after purchasing it, we went to the mountain where we found that this truck is a kick ass truck! We came down the mountain without any problem and we even stopped to tow out a Ford F350 buried in the snow. The weekend after that we decided to test it in the mud where we found that it trucked right on through and had no issues. We also realized the towing compacity as well. So all I have to say is this truck is well worth the money! I would buy 10 of them before I bought anything else. I give HONDA two thumbs up and a standing ovation for making this truck!
Pros: Navi, in bed trunk.
Cons: Seating position
Advice: You absolutly can't go wrong with this purchase.I own a 2004 Acura TL and let me tell you this truck gives my car a run for it's money in its highway ride. I test drove a few others like Chevy silverado, dodge dakota, and toyota tacoma, the ridgleline make everyone of them look sub-par. It's disappointing to see american trucks look, ride and drive so unrefined after all the years we spent building trucks.
Pros: In bed trunk
Advice: Drive it, you'll lovethe Ridgeline is a very comfortable pickup that doubles as a family car. Very comfortable ride, smooth, and rides like a car. great features, love the in bed trunk, and the back seat is large enough that adults can ride there comfortably.
