2002 Honda CR-V - EX (M5) 4x4
Pros: the emergency brake.
Cons: that the running boards are extra
Advice: The $2000 difference is completely worth it for purchasing the EXI got my Honda on the strength of someone's recommendation who has the 1999 CR-V. I LOVE my car. It's totally cute, easy to handle, great interior features like storage bins and lots of floor space which is great for getting my 2 year old in and out. The gear shift (automatic) is on the dashboard and the emergency brake is hidden under the radio, and makes absolute design sense.
2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 LX (M5) Sedan
Pros: supposed to be solid built
Cons: noise, uncomfortable seating, low mpg at this class
Advice: never trust the rating from internet site. Have a full test drive first.I have about 800 miles on my new accord. It's not as good as claimed by many internet sites. The noise of road and wind is huge. The mpg is ordinary(22 for city and 28 for highway). After 300 miles I noticed the dashboard noise. I have been to the dealer's 3 times and it's still there. Overall average quality compared with Buick or Camry. Never buy it again.
2002 Honda Odyssey - LX
Pros: power and handling
Cons: i would like brighter reversing lights
Advice: go for itwe got the lx with leather and dvd. we love it best car I ever owned we traded a 2001 odyssey lx and I loved that. But the new one has more power, 5 speed auto,4 wheel disc brakes, side air bags, better sound system, the dvd works great, overall worth every penny of the $30,000 best of all the trade in value on the 2001 odyssey was great
2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 LX (M5) Sedan
Pros: Look, feel, value, and re-sale value.
Cons: blind spot
Advice: Do research and shopping online. I hate dealing with lying salesmen!Great! Loved the look and feel. Only negative: A design flaw in the Accord since this design introduced (1998-2002) which is it's huge rear blind-spot on both sides. Talked with other owners and all agree. Just be a little extra careful when getting over and you'll get used to it.
2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 SE (A4) Coupe
Pros: sound system
Cons: hard seats
Advice: Buy a seat cushion and GO!I have been 2,000 miles & so far so good. The ride is smooth. The car corners and stops very well. The 4 cylinder has plenty of pick up for me. MPG so far is 27-30 mpg highway and city. The fit & finish are perfect outside and inside. No blemishes of any type. The only complaints I have are what I feel are design flaws. 1)It is very hard to get into the back seat. Once you get in there is lots of room but getting there is a real pain. How about a 2 inch longer door? 2)The trunk is hard to access b/c the threshold is so high. 3) Seats are hard. Tiring on the buttocks after a long day. This model has been out for 4 years. You would think these would have been corrected. Overall I feel great about this car. My 4th Honda. All have been great cars, wonderful resale value.
2002 Honda Civic - EX (M5) Coupe
Pros: Keyless entry, sunroof, the look (inside and out)
Cons: A little more power
Advice: Buy one, you won't regret it!I absolutly LOVE my new Civic. It runs great,it's the best small car I ever drivin. I think it's comfortable, reliable, and BEAUTIFUL. I have a two door in silver. I've owned it for about 3 weeks and I still can't get enough of it. The sunroof is great! I thought the lack of a large center consol would be a hassle, but there are plenty of other storage places. The gas milage is wonderful. I don't regret my purchase at all!
2002 Honda Odyssey - EX
Pros: Engine and Powertrain Upgrade
Cons: Low end speaker sound AM/FM/CD stereo system
Advice: Try to get a better price by dealing with the fleet or internet managerSome minor rattling from both sliding doors. Quieter engine, definitely more horsepower and pickup from stop due to 5-speed Auto tranny. A major improvement! Tires are wider and lower aspect ration for performance. Wheels are forged differently to prevent rim scuffing. Now with 4-wheel disc brakes! Minor cosmetic changes. Honda emblems may be too large. Overall, Honda, has done an outstanding job!
