Cons: rough rideexcellent miles per gallon
Pros: 4- wheel drive
Cons: cost & honest salesmen. This Element being the second Element that my has owned tells you that it is a great car as my wife says. Lots of room, engine needs help with a few more HP. Tows good, Moon roof is questionble. My wife would rather it was not there. A great winter car. likes the seats that raise to the sides. Front seat not as durable as she likes and short on comfort for the cross country ride. Buy your towing hitch from UHaul half the cost of Honda. Some Honda dealers will try to get more money from with cheap things add to your car. Etching the window, a alarm system, shine on you car, scot guard for the interior and many more useless items that they charge an outrageous price for. I have not met an honest salesman or finance manger. But back to the Element, my wife says that if she gets another car it will be another Element. The car can also be fitted with a whee lchair lift.
I love this Honda CRV
Pros: Sun and moon roof. This CRV is the best new vehicle and easiest to drive of all cars that I have ever owned. I am 79 years old and believe me, this is the most fun I have ever had with a new car.
Fantastic design and build quality!
Pros: Design and 'fun factor.'
Cons: No problems or limitations uncovered. MPG could use a slight boost. This car has it all. Well built, powerful, lots of fun to drive and a perfect driving height for the driver. I have driven Mercedes, BMW, Toyota and others but hands down, this car is the best blend between affordability, style and sophistication. My favorite car to date!
Pros: Seat comfort on long trips.
Cons: Lack of memory seats. When gas hit $3 it was time to send my Lincoln Navigator packing. After months of research and test drives I selected the 2010 Honda Pilot. At 6'3', 240 lbs space was very important to me. The Pilot is more comfortable for long distance travel than was the Navigator and the 8 mpg gain was great. There is more cargo room behind the second seat than with the Navigator.
Pros: Drives like a dream!
Cons: Opening rear side doors in garage.I have owned many cars, a few trucks, a Suburban and a 4Runner. My Element is the best all around performer. Economical, plenty of room for shopping, camping, road trips and my wife is an artist so there have been times when she has filled it up with numerous canvasses of all sizes which would not have been possible with many other larger vehicles. Great economy and it's cool too.
Pros: Towable without transmission modification.
Cons: Engine power. This vehicle was purchased primarily for towing behind a motor home. For that purpose it is excellent. As for the car itself, I find it to be a bit under powered. One must be careful when passing another vehicle on two lane roads. Turning off the A/C while passing helps a bit. Road noise is present but not unbearable at highway speeds. This vehicle is quite comfortable on long road trips. A/C works very well in hot weather. Yet this car is easy to handle in city driving situations,(turning, parking, etc.) This is a most user friendly vehicle.
