2010 Ford Fusion HyBrid
Cons: NoneNever intended to buy the HyBrid because I purchased a Fusion Sport. Dealer got it for me from another state. Two weeks after receiving it was found this state Washington would not title because did not meet our strick pollution standards. Great car. thro. Dealer talked me into testing a HyBrid. Sure glad I did. Turned out to be a fine car. Not as fast or does it corner quite as well as the Sport model but a great car. Have about 2500 miles on it. For what it has for a power plant I found it has plenty of get up and go , its passing ability great. In our mountains no probllems with corning or power. Interior is nicely layed out, seats are confortable, legroom fine. No problems of any sort have been encountered. Gas mileage from 38.6 to 41.8. I could do better. Would recommend this car and have to anyone. Some one may build a better car then this Ford but not for this price.
Fusion Sport AWD Delivers
Pros: Voice activated Nav & Sync
Cons: Mileage could be better or my foot needs to be lighterThe 2010 Fusion Sport AWD is another example of Ford listening to the market. The 3.5 ltr engine has a smooth 263 hp. The AWD and sport suspension delivers a crisp handling car. The seats are very comfortable. The car has tons of room. The voice activated Sync/Nav is industry leading. Great value, great looks, great performance, great fun!
my 2007 Ford Fusion
Pros: hands down an awesome radio/cd
Cons: rather bland interior but it's easy to cleangreat car. better than most of the hyped up foreign imports. cheaper too. it's comfortable inside. riding too. huge trunk space. gets great gas mileage. 32 on hwy. never less than 28. no troubles whatsoever. fairly decent looking. I'd buy another but this one at 85K runs so good, why go into debt in this piss pour economy?
Cons: QualityOver the past 10 months I have driven a 2010 Ford Fusion with the 4 cyl engine. At 8,000 miles the transmission started slipping and shifting poorly; Ford reprogrammed the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). At 10,000 miles, Ford checked the computer and told me it was running fine. When the transmission would not shift into 2nd or 3rd regularly, shutter, and slam into gear at 12,000 miles, Ford replaced the transmission. However, the mechanic told me that the car's computer still 'thought' the car was operating properly. An Internet search resulted in others with the same problem. The new transmission is working fine. Sometimes when I try to start the car, the engine just turns over continuously without starting. Ford needs to fire the computer programmers & designers. The AC vents don't angle upwards enough. Otherwise, the car handles nicely and is relatively comfortable for its small size.
Pros: comfort and pick up in new engine
Cons: would like the blindspot alert lights to be standard
Advice: great buyTest drove the Fusion. The 2010 upgrades are awesome. The pick up in engine is great now. Driving is fun and very comfortable. The sync is nice but lots to learn for a not so gadget swavey driver. The hands free phone is great Comfort is great.
Pros: Looks, features, comfort,
Cons: The SYNC is not as 'cool' as I thought. When giving an address to drive to, it never can understand what you say. After dozens of attempts, I pull out the trusty Tom Tom!
Advice: I recommendI have had my 2010 Fusion SE for 4 months now. I am overall very pleased with the car. I wonder somewhat about the gas mileage. Advertised 34mpg hiway, I am getting 24.8. I'm counting on improvement over time.
Pros: Interior is user friendly and comfort along with Large trunk space. Standard features outweigh last 2 vehicles (Chrysler ) by far.
Cons: Rear visiblility when parking.
Advice: test drive and see for yourselfFord got it RIGHT on this one. Plenty of comfort, pep, quality and very good gas mileage. On my first trip got 30.2 mpg.
