2005 Ford Freestar - Signature Limited
Pros: Fold down rear seats that way you can not see them
Cons: Front steering not in straight line and old looking seats
Advice: Let go of the wheel to see how straight it is, if not get out and shut the doorThe vehicle looks and preforms like a second hand van. Front seats look like they are 5 years old worn and torn. The steering is a nightmare, the wheel will not keep in a straight line for 5 seconds, it veers all way to right one line than two than three, than off the mountain you go, good bye. The front end is off by 1/2 inch, in difference to the drivers side. Have owned 5 ford vehicle, never have I had one that I could not let go of the wheel to see if it is line ,if it did't go straight I brought it to a front end shop to be fixed... To bad I signed papers before it was fixed what a mistake..
2004 Ford Freestar - SE Standard (120B)
Pros: the ride
Cons: 2nd row seats are a bit out of place, I would advise captains' chairs.
Advice: Test drive it and see for yourselfThis is our family's fifth minivan and is by far the most quiet of any GM, Dodge, or Ford minivan that we have had. It is very responsive in all manuevers and is very smooth otherwise. Having had a windstar before, I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall experience of this van,and the rebates and discounts made it very attractive.
