Pros: Nav system
Cons: Lack of back-up cameraRunning day two with New 2010 Edge Limited AWD. Ideal mode of traveling, this SUV tracks solid, provides great wheel feedback and offers wonderful features/comfort! Coming out of a Mazda CX-7 happy to give up turbo lag, trashing noise but sharper cornering for the improved stance, silent cabin, spacious back seating and wonderful seats! Nav/sound/phone system offers natural, easy use. Negatives: 1. More horse power 2. Less plastic interior look 3. Offer optional back-up camera Improved hp & interior trim finishes for 2011 should prove to move this vehicle to top of SUV pack.
From Obscurity to Obsession
Pros: I have great visibility.
Cons: The upholstery collects my German Shepherd's hair.I had never heard of an Edge, just drove it on a whim and fell in love with the 'feel' of the auto. It is all quality all the time. There is a lot of room inside, room for family and friends and it performs on the highway like a champ.
Pros: the body style
Cons: didnt have third row seatA lot of leg room and space but would love it more if it had a third row seat
Pros: The ride of a car with the practical features of a SUV.
Cons: Gas milageThis is the first U.S. made car I've owned in 30 years. What a pleasent surprise.
Pros: The NAV/Sync system with MP3 jack.
Cons: The plastic cover attached to the 20 inch rims.Going from an SUV to this CUV is a great change. It feels sporty like a car, yet lots of room inside for comfort and ease of getting in and out with my back problems, (which is why I couldn't buy a sports car).
Cons: pricegreat new look and comfort, ford has come a long way, fast and safe
Pros: The driver's seat is very comfortable.
Cons: The back seat is a little tight if your 3 passengers are teens or adults.
Advice: It's a bigger vehicle that handles like a car. Smooth ride and comfortable seating. My parents have this vehicle. I got to drive the Edge in an emergency situation. I did not want to get back in my car. My dream car is the Lincoln Town Car, but this is a very good 'until I can afford it' car. The ride is smooth. I'm a 5'10' lady with a son who is 6'4'. We fit very comfortably in that vehicle. The only change I would make is to widen the 3 passenger back seat by a couple of inches to accommodate 3 average size adults. Perfect for 3 kids. A very good looking vechicle.
