2002 Dodge Caravan - Sport
Pros: Leather!, lift installed for my power chair.
Cons: Just the gas mileage, and perhaps the color blue, as I mentioned above.
Advice: As long as you drive resononably, this baby will last your lifetime!Overal, this van has been a wonder to drive and own. About the only thing I would change, is the color from blue to black, as I am an avid Oakland Raider fan!
2006 Dodge Sprinter Van 2500 - HC 140" WB
Advice: Buy a Ford EconolineAvoid these vehicles. We bought 8 of these for a delivery company in st louis and its possible they will put us out of business. They are the most unreliable vans we have evered owned. I wouldn't buy one again even if they were cheaper than a ford or chevy.
2006 Dodge Caravan - SXT Passenger
Cons: No tow package on it
Advice: Look at its looks and style ! How can you consider anything else ?Great all around sensible vehicle, much easier to get in and out of compared to a sedan car ! Roomy, easy and quiet to drive. Can not understand where a 'noisy interior' comes from in one owner's comment. A terrific family van, so much better overall, and appearance, than competitors. Much better than SUV with ease in entering and exiting. Drives beautifully. With care and sensible driving, this is a long lasting beauty !
2003 Dodge Caravan - Sport Passenger
Pros: 3 extra doors
Cons: window controls on arm like protrusion get me in the knees
Advice: Buy one you'll like itThe vehicle is a peach. Roomy, good gas milage, good performance
2006 Dodge Caravan - SXT Passenger
Pros: Electric sliding side doors & back door.
Cons: Quality of paint and assembly.
Advice: Don't buy from a dealer that provides poor service, because you will NEED good service. My DGC has 7400 miles on it. It has a 3.8 engine. It rides well on smooth roads. It is comfortable when driving in town and the highway. The AC works well in the summer at 100+. Visibility is great. In the east, many cities have the signal lights so high it is difficult to see W/O pulling your neck out of your torso. So I like the driver view. The heater works great in the winter at 0. I get 20 MPG in the city and 25-27 MPG on the highway using the AC. I always use the AC when it is 70+ outside.
2004 Dodge Sprinter Van 2500 - High Roof 118" WB
Cons: engine and transmission
Advice: If use for short ride (park and work) buy it. If for long ride(driven) all day avoid it very costly.test driven is good work driven is not so good
2003 Dodge Sprinter Van 2500 - 140" WB
Pros: The milage, room and comfort
Cons: Lox & lights
Advice: Get xtra keys made now. And buy stock in Sylvania.I hav e owned a Sprinter since 30 Jun 03. I love the idea of the sprinter, but I truly believe that it would have been a much better truck if Dodge would have built it. I love my truck. I love the storage. I love the room. I don't miss bring out the tarp on rainy days. But I have had continual problems with the studipest stuff. Mechanically, she it awesome. The motor is great, the tranny strong and she has never let me down. The lox have been a problem. The keys are not strong. They break easily, once in the ignition and once in the door. The lock motor failed in the on the side door, causing me to have an unsecure door for three weeks. Not good. The brakes wear out in 36000 miles. Pathetic. Then there's the headlights. I had to replace 4 in the first year. After taking it in and having the Dodge guys look at a Mercedes, the problem continued until I fixed it. I never owned a Mercedes, and after owning the Sprinter, I never will. I think Dodge would have built a better vehicle. They know Americans are tough on our trucx. But we love 'em. We'd be nothing without 'em.
