Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: OnStar and the rear cargo area if you need it.
Advice: Buy one, you'll love it.The TrailBlazer EXT LT 4WD has good visibility and very east to drive. Rides like a car but great in the snow in 4WD if needed. It is very easy to switch from 2 WD to 4WD. Men like do drive it but it is also easy for women and the storage room in the back is great. It is nice to be able to take 6 friends with you instead of us all going in separate cars.
Pros: on Star
Cons: luggage rack
Advice: so far so goodDrives good, rides good, turning radius is good.
Pros: My favorite feature is the gear shifter positioned on the floor versus the steering wheel and the third row seat.
Cons: I haven't found anything that I don't like - yet.
Advice: I would recommend this vehicle for anyone looking for a comfortable third row seat in a mid sized SUV.This vehicle handles extremely well for its size. I've driven it during snow and icy conditions and I haven’t had any problems. Probably the biggest drawback is the acceleration which is a bit hesitant, so be careful when you need the extra burst when changing lanes from a standing position. But, all in all my driving experience has been very favorable for the two weeks I have driven this vehicle.
Pros: 7 passenger comfort and towing capacity.
Cons: Front buckets could use more lateral support.
Advice: Best deals are now! $7000 in rebates.TrailBlazer EXT 4WD provides all we needed in one affordable package. Comfortable 7 passenger seating, 4 WD, 7000 lb towing and loaded (ie: DVD, V8, etc) with a $7000 rebate! We use Suburbans in our Paramedic system. We drive them hard and have gotten over 200,000 miles on many of our units. Though just purchased a week ago, the first tank of fuel averaged 14.5 mpg. Not bad for a 5.3 liter V8. We pick up our new 25' trailer Monday. Let you know later how TrailBlazer does towing long distances fully loaded.
Pros: comfort ride and great for driving on snow and ice
Cons: poor gas mileage
Advice: be sure dealer has good service departmentStill has rattles in front end , had several missing body clips all replaced by dealer after complaint of noises.
Pros: Power, traction and stability, lots of cargo and seating room, price and rebate.
Advice: No need to look any further! Buy it!We were hit by a hard northeast winter. My boyfriend and I saw our FWD minivan did not provide enough traction. So, after checking enough SUV's, we found all we needed in the 2003 Trailblazer EXT LT 4X4, which is also better for towing and hauling. It has all the features we want and need and none we do not. It has performed better than other competitors' SUV's. While they were getting stuck in snow, our Trailblazer went right through it. It has more cargo and seating room than others in its category. Its standard Vortec 4.2L V6 has more h.p. than other competitors' V8's used in theirs in this size category. We also found out fully equipped, it still cost less than an equally-equipped Explorer Limited. The Trailblazer is one I highly recommend!
Pros: The Comfortable and Security.
Advice: Buy it.I love this truck. I went from a small Acura Integra to this and I feel comfortable. I have two small boys and 'lots' of their friends in and out of my truck so there is plenty of 'people' room and behind the third row, there's still space for all the enquipment they might need.
