Heavy duty & quality
Pros: Duramax Diesel engine
Cons: ?
2008 2500HD crew cab - LTZ trim Decent fuel milage with great towing capacity. The inside is more like a Cadillac than a Chevy. GM warranty service is easy to work with and repaired even the smallest complaints. No major issues, just bumper to bumper covered items. They were so helpful, I purchased a new Camaro while I was waiting for repairs.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - Base 4x4 Extended Cab Short Box
Pros: Paint still looks like new without ever being parked under cover for the last 5 years.
Cons: Daytime running lights & trying to control them.
Advice: I'm sure you won't regret choosing this vehicle.
Reliability, confidence, satisfaction. Just a few words to describe my feelings about this truck. Holds up great over time & always gets the job done whether working or playing. Definitely will repeat this purchase decision when it is time for a replacement. -
2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - LT 4x4 Crew Cab Short Box
Pros: Tow/haul mode
Cons: none
Advice: none
Has great power and acceleration. Fuel mileage is very good considering this is a 3/4 ton pickup. Empty on the open road computer reads out at 21-22 mpg. Cost of operation (not including fuel) has been less than $0.03/mile. I currently have 65500 miles on this vehicle. -
2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - LT1 4x4 Crew Cab Short Box
Pros: I like the idea that I can pull 12
Cons: It seems to be a little sluggish in town
Advice: Be prepaired for gas pump shock
This truck does everything I need it to do. It has power to spare on the freeway (It wants to go fast). I am very surprised at the performance of my new truck, my Silverado 1500 with a gasoline engine could not compete with my new Duramax. I wish I would have waited for the 350 HP version, but my 310 HP feels like it can pull anything. The new Allison automatic 6 speed transmission shifts like a dream. I am very pleased with the new changes to the hood design this year, much more pleasant to the eye. -
2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - LS 4x4 Crew Cab Short Box
Pros: The 6.0 power.
Cons: Lots of plastic inside.
Advice: Hope that gas prices go down!!!
This is the best riding truck of all one I looked at. Smooth ride all the power needed. Great for towing. -
2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD - LT 4x2 Crew Cab Short Box
Pros: Leather seats, On Star and XM
Cons: Too much plastic in the interior
Advice: Buy one before the GM employee discount goes awasy
Ride is very comfortable for a heavy duty truck. The 6.6L Duramax engine and Allison automatic transmission combination provide smooth takeoff and surprising acceleration. Towing is a dream with this rig.
