Pros: dvd and wireless headphones
Advice: shop aroundIf you have children, get this van...the quiet miles you will get are worth the extra couple thousand dollars. Buying a full tank of gas was a shock, other car is a Mazda Protege. Looked at Odyssey, back door opens four inches too low, it bonked me on the test drive. Ford was too slow, found rivets and screws on the floor. Door did not line up well within the opening. Mazda too small.
Pros: no frills people-mover
Cons: crash tests
Advice: shop and compareGM put together a very practical, driveable vehicle. There's no fluff and a lot of plastic but this people mover offers lots of flexibility. Handling and visibility are carlike and the short wheelbase makes parking a breeze.Seats are removeable for greater flexibility.
Cons: This van has more rattles than a baby!
Advice: Do not buy this vehicle, buy the Ford. They are built better.Very comfortable loaded for highway trips. Pulls a large trailer with no problem. Needs gas very often! Chevrolet thinks it is fine that this vehicle gets 10mpg in city or highway driving.( been in the shop 7 times in 7 months!)
Pros: V6 Engine
Cons: The Dealer
Advice: Finance before you get to the dealerGreat work truck. Very comfortable ride empty or full. Ready for 200,000 miles at least.
Pros: The soft ride, and steardiness of the vehicle
Cons: The change engine oil light is hard to reset
Advice: Buy it from a dealership that is known for serviceI own a 2000 Venture, I bought it new, and now have 42,000 miles on it, and I have had no problems with the vehicle, other than a burnt out wire leading to the fuel pump. Once the problem was found, no problems. I have nothing bad to say about the vehicle, but the dealership, is another issue.
