Pros: Auto volume for the radio.
Cons: Passing gear, kicks in too often, screams but don't go much faster.
Advice: Real nice car, if you like comfort and room.Replaced a 94 Ply Acclaim with a new Malibu. The gas milage isn't as good, 23 city 28 on trips. The engine is meek compared to Chry products.
Pros: My favorite feature would have to be the roominess.
Cons: Wish the gas mileage was better.
Advice: Compare it to the Camry and Stratus. You get more bang for your buck with the Malibu.Bought the LS model and was very pleased with the standard features. We did get the sunroof and leather front seats as added-on options. The CD player really cuts loose with the bass and my 14 year loves that. There is quite a bit of room for our family of 4. All in all a great car for the price.
Pros: POWER everything seat, mirrors , windows , auto lock and unlock doors
Cons: Been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to think of one can't think of one thing.
Advice: Buy the LS it is well worth the money.I had a 98 Malibu LS and like it after 92,000 miles I thought it time to trade it in for another one. Got a 2002 but this time got the Leather package, sun roof, spolier. I think the 2002 is even better than my 1998 was. Always had a lot of road noise in my 98 but this one is very quiet.
Pros: kickass radio w/cd. Nice base
Cons: The heigth of the front section of the front seats.
Advice: I have had no problems at all. Have a '99 and '02. Gas and oil is all so far.Loved it so much I bought two! Thanks Chevy. I don't have an LS but do have most the options of one. I even have a '02 in black (black comes only on the LS models). Got lucky I guess. I have enjoyed this car from day one with no problems. My '99 has only had oil and gas so far. love it!
