    2007 Chevrolet HHR - LS

Pros: Remote start! Cargo area easy to load and unload. Smaller windows keep it cooler inside. Shorter length makes for easier parking.

Cons: Driver's visibility...too much metal between windshield and side windows

Advice: Try it! There are a lot of them on the road.

Liked it from the first. Seat comfortable. Easy to handle and I like it being a bit higher than my previous car, but I would like it to be a little less cramped around driver's seat. Remote start has the A/C cooling the interior before I get to the car. Passengers note the small windows. It just celebrated its first birthday, and I still love it!

    Pros: XM radio

    Cons: Brakes

Advice: Buy the vehicle that best usits your style

Weak in the brake department, why not four wheel disc? Rotors toast after 22000 miles. Air conditioning has a mind of its own, suddenly stops and starts blowing hot air. Come on GM, you get top money for these things, why can't you get it right? Something else should be explained with the tires for life deal with your dealers, service intervals are more expensive than the tires themselves. The only thing you have going for you with me is, my wife likes it which sucks for me cause I hear 'you need to take it to the dealership to get this or that checked out.' Sad to say GM the best you got going for you at present is Hendrick Motorsports. I own 4 GM vehicles the quality is consistantly going down hill. You think you could build another one like the 57 I still own, or the 66 GTO, or the 70 chevelle that I enjoyed so? Ball is in your court. I also own 2 Honda's 1 Dodge and 1 Ford all which have had less than 4% of their original purchase price paid in repairs, more than 1,000,000 miles total. ?

    2007 Chevrolet HHR - LT

Pros: Great mileage. Better than anticipated 30+ 33+ on trips

Cons: Fuel gauge should be on the left side.

Advice: Before you buy a PT cruiser check out this car.

Liked the Special Victory Red edition I have wih all the Chrome. The remote start is great and so is the XM Radio feature I use 90% of the time. I wish the window controls were on the door instead of down in the center. An arm rest w/ box would be good in lieu of the cup holders. Fun to drive and in the special color I get a lot of looks. Would be great as an SS model w/ a supercharger and a hood scoop. I had a PT Cruiser and like this much more overall; especially the fuel economy.

    Pros: The comfortable drive.

    Cons: No complaints.

    Advice: Enjoy options!

I never dreamed I'd be driving an 'orange' Chevy HHR (and loving it!) My Ford salesman contacted me and said he found a vehicle that was perfect for me. I expected to go to the dealership and test drive a Ford Escape. My salesman (from whom I've purchased before) led me to an orange vehicle and my spirits fell. I said, 'I knew it was this orange one...Why?!' He convinced me to get in and drive and he raved about the gas mileage as compared to the SUVs I'd seen. The drive was fantastic and I bought the vehicle I'm thrilled with the way it handles. Many thanks to Ford for the recommendation.

Pros: exterior looks. remote start. sun roof

    Cons: Windshield thickness

Advice: Upgrade it with all the extras. Proper tire pressure greatly increases MPG

Upgrade to 2.4 and this car has plenty of zip. Bugs still being worked out with minor problems. Windshield wiper speed defect, heater blower defect and ignition defect. Windshield glass is too thin is the biggest design flaw that I have encountered. Watch out for rock chips. Great for short trips but slightly uncomfortable for long hauls with family. rated for 5 but cramped in back for more then 2. Slightly uncomfortable entering and exiting vehicle due to design. Overall great car for looks and power. 30 mpg highway kind of high. I get around 27 in city and 28 hwy.

    Pros: WHEN IT IS OPERATABLE

    Cons: THE RELIABILITY

Advice: DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE OWNED THIS FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS AND WITHIN THE FIRST TWO MONTHS THE OXYGEN SENSOR, SHIFTER, AND TRACTION CONTROL HAD TO BE REPLACED. TWO MONTHS LATER MY TRACTION CONTROL INDICATOR CAME ON AGAIN, I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE WARNING STILL ON AND THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR A WEEK AND SAID THE COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. MY CAR HAS A LITTLE OVER FIVE THOUSAND MILES AND ALREADY HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS.
