    2006 Chevrolet HHR

    Excellent gas mileage

    Pros: Gas mileage

Cons: Must use remote to unlock doors or alarm goes off with key only.

I get 26 mpg in combined city/ freeway driving. 30-32 mpg on trips. Have 2.4L, auto. Comfortable. Very quiet. Handles excellent. Only problem was the gear shifter had to be replaced at 48,000 miles. Uses no oil between changes. I would definitely buy HHR again

    2006 Chevrolet HHR

    Worst car ever

Pros: lots of cargo space with back seats laid down

Cons: chronic problems and extremely poor customer service from Chevy

Chronic brake problems and problems with traction control light coming on followed by check engine light. The moment the traction control light is coming on, gears start shifting rough. Poorest customer service at the Chevy Dealership and incredibly incompetent mechanics at the associated Goodwrench service department. I'll never by a Chevy or any GM products again. Save yourself lots of headaches and follow this advice.

    2008 Chevrolet HHR

An All Around Great Car for City and Highway!!

    Pros: On Star

Cons: Front windshild is a little too small in height

We purchased two, new, 2008 HHR's in 2008. We have take these vehicles on 21 hour road trips to Florida and to Moab, Utah with 4 people as well as use them daily for work and errand vehicles and found them both to be perfect for each application! Rides great on the road, handles responsively in the city, gets great mileage on both applications! Comfortable ride, dependable, high quality with flexability in the folding seats. Wife rides road bicycles and we can easily transport her bike and associated equipment as well as luggage and other items! What a versitile vehicle!!
