GM IS DYING AND THEY CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT
Pros: gas mileage
Cons: financingI DON'T HAVE ONE, but would like to. I saw that GM was offering 0% for 72 months and immediately looked into the equinox and the GMC model. No )%. 6.5% offered. How stupid can they be. They should be offering incentives to gain market share on a car that could help them rather than keeping the interest high. they are a company that simply can not manage itself. They wonder why they went bankrupt.
compact SUV done right
Pros: overall appearence
Cons: seats a little too firm on lengthy tripsOur Equinox LTZ handles well with plenty of power from 4 cyl engine very good interior and overall fit and finish. have driven approx 3400 miles to date but not so sure about 32 mpg claim
shame on chevrolet
Pros: air conditioning
Cons: start up rpmsevery thing about this vehicle is really good except that the body is made out of the thinest, cheapest material on earth. a little kid can hit it with his hand and put a dent in the sides of it. a real pisser!
Pros: Love the way it drives and handles
Cons: Acceleration and rear view obstruction when backingCar looks very nice; however, the black color looks like an Orca Whale. Best to go with a lighter color (white or silver). Accelertion is poor due to the 2.73 rear end. Bet gas mileage would be just as good with a 3.23 and the acceleration would be a class leader.
Love my Traverse
Pros: Folding rear seats for cargo since I do not have a pickup.
Cons: Lack of PowerIt has almost as much room as my Suburban had but the seats fold down easily and gas mileage is much better.
Sheep in wolf,s clothing
Pros: comfort/throwing dirty stuff in back
Cons: that black cladding crap all over the backRides like a cloud, pulls like a bear passes everything but a gas station. The perfect vehicle for someone who is 6'2' and has a 35' inseam. I test fit lots of cars and trucks to see what is out there and I can't find anything that is more comfortable or easier to get in and out of.
Happy with Traverse
Cons: not getting stated MPGI recently purchased a 2009 Chevy Traverse and love the roominess. My husband who was not with me when I purchased it said he thought the car was deceiving because from the outside it did not look big, however when he got in it he was amazed at the room. It is a very comfortable ride. The only down side is I don't think I'm getting the MPG that is stated on sticker(17 city/24 Hwy). I drive mostly highway and I'm only getting about 18 mpg today. I'm not heavy footed and normally use cruise control. Hope to see it improve over time.
