    2011 Chevrolet Equinox - 1LT FWD

The Equinox is actually surprisingly roomy in the back seats. We took our kids on a trip for the first time it was actually very pleasant ride and the handling is also better than most SUVs. The only issue we had was that the headrests for the back seats are not removable, we felt a bit strange to have a gap between the seat back and the convertible child seats we have (Britax) , but it works out just fine. Gas mileage is reasonably good, averaged 25MPG.

    2009 Chevrolet HHR

    Great little car

    Pros: Fold flat rear seats.

    Cons: Cup holder position.

Purchased in Jan 2010. Have driven thru 2 NW Indiana winters. Love the remote start. Always does great in the snow (just remember it's not 4WD). I drive 80 miles round trip for work, mileage was 29-31, now getting 30-32mpg. 31mpg on a trip to Florida & back. Cup holders could have a better position. Visability is alittle different from other cars, windshield pillars seem wider (drive one first, don't complain later). Oh yes..E85 mileage is horrible, runs ok on it but you will never save any $$$. Wind noise is par with others its size.

    2009 Chevrolet HHR

    Most trouble free ever

    Pros: ON-Star

Cons: Shoulder room (I'm a big guy)

Fit & Finish excellent, very practical, reasonably good on gas. A/C will freeze you out (I'm in FL). Compfortable ride. good headroom but a little tight in shoulder room. In 30M miles only problem was a burned out tail light bulb. I hate to see them stop making it. Best vehicle for the money.

    2008 Chevrolet Equinox

    Disappointed

Pros: Drivers seat adjustment and lumbar support,w/ heat

Cons: Winter driving with this car

Mileage gets better when broken in. Initially barely 20 mpg hwy, now 22/23 mpg long road trip. Plan your passing carefully. Have had back surgery, if the drivers seat adjusts to my back I'm interested! GREAT driver comfort w/heated seat & lumbar system. Good leg room adjustment in back seat! Not the most comfortable ride in back though. Would like window and door control on door arm rest. Great looking vehicle makes you turn your head. I downsized for better mileage (didn't gain mpg) and sacrificed more cargo space then I had expected. Front wheel drive hydro-planes easily when pavement wet. Not my first front wheel drive vehicle, VERY disappointed during the winter. If you don't drive in snow, or on ice, this would be the car for you!

    2010 Chevrolet HHR

    Very Happy

    Pros: Turbocharged motor

    Cons: Brake noise

Purchased an HHR SS as a grocery getter. The performance of the turbocharged motor is very impressive. Fit and finish is very good and the car feels very soild. I especially like having a small wagon that can handle my hauling needs yet be sporty and offer the performance and economy I want. The ride and handling are great for my needs. I tend to favor a tighter handling chassis and am willing to give up a softer ride. The seats are very supportive and all of the essential controls are layed out well. Gas mileage is good, around 20 in town and 29 on the highway. Only issue has been a noisy brake noise upon moderate to hard braking.
