Pros: Magnetic Ride Control
Cons: Dash Board Interia Quality
Advice: Should select V-8 with Magnetic RideI bought it in Japan (ZIP code 46285 was dummy. I live in Japan). Almost no one owns this car which is one reason to buy (In Japan most people want to buy BMW/Mercedes). V-8 engine and suspension (Magnetic-ride) is so good. Large sun-roof and exterior I like it althoug interior is cheap. I think General Motors Asia Pasific is bad at marketing of this product.
Pros: The Ultraview!
Cons: The rear window wiper and washer isnt the best. Very small for the large window back there.
Advice: Test drive it and you wont be able to walk away. Its a great family car and you cant beat Cadillacs waranty. The 2006 Cadillac SRX V6 is very stylish and very comfortable. It has alot of get up and go for the V6. Very easy to get around and park. The kids love it and I love having the third seat for extra kids (the third seat is only for kids though). Pleanty of leg room both in the front seats and the second row. When the third row is down there is plenty of cargo space, even for my LARGE stroller! The Ultraview is a MUST!!! It is amazing and we love to have it open! When it is open, it is amazingly quiet and not my wind comes in which is great! Cadillac did a great job, would buy a Cadillac again!!!
Pros: Navigation, Bucket Seats, XM Radio, Cargo Space
Cons: Treated very poorly after the sale, pretty much by everyone.
Advice: DO NOT BUY IT. GO BUY A LEXUS OR INFINITY.This car is a beauty. To bad you can't get your services and warranty work done over at the Lexus dealership. If you've ever owned a Lexus or Infinity, don't expect that customer service out of the GM/Cadillac dealership or GM 800 customer service number. If you like to be treated special after the sale, go down and buy that Lexus. Privious/current cars owned- 1.Lesus ES300-Great Car & Great Service 2.Lesus LX470-Great Car & Great Service 3.Infinity M45-Great Car & Great Service 4.Corvette c5-Nice Car & Bad Service 5.2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum-Great Car & Poor Service. Cons: Probably the location of the spare tire if its' needed. But I think that I'll call roadside service
Advice: It guzzles gas and wants the premium stuff but hey you knew this coming inWow! This is one impressive ride. The Power from the 6 liter engine lets this baby jump up and go. It has plenty of room with it being very comfortable as well as pleasing to the eye. The interior is classy cadillac appointment.I have had other SUV's and they rode like trucks. This obviously doesn't ride like a Deville but still isn't bad at all. It is a big vehicle but not difficult to get into or out of. The heated seats, radio including XM Sat, Moon Roof, Lighting, Memory settings for Him and Her. This vehicle has got it all. Glad I made the move.
Advice: Before buying consider the2006 GMC YUKON DENALI,2006Infiniti QX56,2006hummer h2I liked the test drive it was smooth.I really dont have any other words.
Pros: overall.......so easy to drive
Cons: kinda cheap interior !!!!
Advice: buy it ..a great car !!!wonderful highway car. have gotten 25 mpg !!! very nice around town. easy to handle. great hvac system. outclasses mercedes..lexus etc....interior not as nice but so what .... thousands less than a foreign car and cheap to service !!!
Advice: Buy oneI have 600 mi on my 2006 & this is a great SUV! Nimble in spite of size & very comfortable. Engine, performance, styling & exhaust note are terrific. The Escalade can be a class leader with a few updates: auto up on drivers window; more storage in front (sunglass compartment, drink holders in doors); power tailgate; 2 power outlets up front (not in console); one or two storage cubbies in middle seat area (e.g doors or seat in-sides); telescoping steering wheel & 5 speed transmission round out my recommendations.
