Cons: gas milagea very good car
Cadillac SRX 2005-2008
Pros: Design Appearance inside & out.
Cons: The Space Saver Spare, if ever needed. LocationOne of The Best Cross-Over SUV's ever Designed ! Sharp edged appearance luxury vehicle whose multi functional features and design allow for all the comfort, ride quality and upscale flash desired of the CTS Sedan but increased interior room, rear passenger seating comfort and carrying capacity. Even the base model although lacking the added wood & chrome provides an understated presence of ellegance and inheirant quality. Drives like a luxury car. No blind spots with the wrap around rear glass, ample power with the standand 3.8 l V-6, pleasant shift points, great instrumention panel display, real leather. Driving is secure under all conditions with the AWD system & suspension. Choice of colors ranged superb. A huge mistake GM changed the SRX Model Name Plate in 2010 to a smaller, higher, narrower Cross-Over which simply isn't nearly an improvement. Go for The Sport Wagon ! on The CTS Frame which is virtually the old SRX with a lower roof line. Pre-Owned Certified 2005-09 SRX Models are the Best Bargain on Todays Market in a Sports Luxury Cross-Over, the styling is timeless, they're quality proven. Body Work and Fit including Interior Parts are Solid. A Certified vehicle is worry-free driving ! AAA+
Pros: moon roof
Cons: bad leatherI loved it, it is great
Pros: The overall appearance and the power of the 6.2 liters
Cons: that it comes with the shift on the column, as I would much prefer a floor shiftPure american class, with everyday functionality. You can use it during the day as a pick up, and in the evening as a ride with class.
Great family car
Pros: V-8 Northstar engine
Cons: maintainence costsQuality car with lots of good features for the kids in the back. Plenty of power. Drives more like a car than a SUV.
2006-09 Cadillac SRX V-6 AWD
Pros: Body Styling
Cons: Staggered Wheel SizeNow, one of The Most highly sought after used vehicles, particularly low mileage examples w Certified Warranty extentions - Edmond Rated an excellent value following initial depreciation of 50 percent from New Purchase Price thus providing one of the best Preowned values in Crossovers on todays market. We agree. GM made a tremendous error in re-styling to a substantially less roomier model, narrow body w increased height. Although the 2010 SRX has Aggressive Styling, the 06-09 is Classic Cadillac, swank, comfortable, requires little maintenance, luxury appearance, a Mercedes counterpart far less pricy. The Extended Warranty is simply superb and Cadillac Dealership Service the best in the U.S. industry. Rumor has it, it's planned reintroduction or make-over in 2012.
Pros: Performance, power and brakes
Cons: Noisy engine and uncomfortable seatsA great performing small suv, the SRX has exceptional qualities and some problems. I guess I might contribute the problems to the high tech features of the car. One gripe is having to buy new DVDs for the Nav system every year. Compounding the problem is the fact that you have to buy 2 if you live in the center of the US, (I'm on Arkansas), one for the West and one for the East! Right new I'm using my portable Garmin 550. Also, you don't buy the DVDs from Cadillac, you must order from a third party off the web. Strange seats, nice leather but I can never get comfortable. When adjusting the height, the seat moves up and down but the seatback doesn't move. The panoramic roof broke and the repair price was $1000.00 for motor and rails + labor. I'm afraid to use it now as I've heard horror stories about the top exploding. (check Google). Now the car is telling me I have a problen with the suspension system. Also, when I fill (or just add any amount) of gas, the car is almost impossible to start. I have to hold the accelerator pedal to the floor and it will slowly come to life. I will be taking it into Caddy on the 23rd for repairs. I have never had a car with brakes like this!! During an emergency (a person turned left in front of me while I was doing about 75 mph), I had to hit the brakes and the car slowed so fast it scared me. We missed the other car with plenty of room to spare! The engine has a very loud growling sound whenever you get into the gas. Nice to have power, and a lot of power it has, but at this noise level? I think I would recommend a new small suv from Ford or GMC instead of this car, less overall costs in the long run.
