BMW 330i - Love the drive, hate the expences!!
Cons: Poor Built of some parts and poor electronics!Pros: Fantastic Handling, less power compared to competition like the Lexus IS350. The steptronic tranny is nice. Average fuel efficiency. Cons - Suspention parts falling apart only at 80,000km, few sensors needed change, all brakes had to be replaced, rust and even much more. All this after babying the car with everything best. My 2004 Accord has 180,000 km and till date had not needed any parts replaced except the front brakes and rotors. Much more comfortable as well.
the BMW brand mystique
Pros: top down driving
Cons: I-Drive1. 'I-drive' computer system NOT user friendly. 2. convertible-top sensors needed to be fixed every 6 months to operate the top. 3. only 1 cup holder (must be a German thing) 4. an electronics nightmare (you don't need a mech, you need an elec engineer)
Rocket in a car shape
Cons: The narrow profile tiresThe BMW 550 with the sport package is a fantastic car. It has an amazing handling and performance. Eagerly reacts to the driver. The only down side, the narrow profile tires are not meant to be driven on New England’s pot holes.
head above rest.
Pros: Power and handling.
Cons: roomBMW Z4 is hard to compar, it's just a fine engineered auto light-years ahead of the competion.
Cons: price of tiresBeautiful vehicle, low mileage never been in an accident
Great WOW Factor !
Pros: Handling,power and shifting
Cons: Gas gauge moves faster than the car.I had a 2005 BMW 645 Coupe for 5 years and love the 6 series. Replaced it with the new M6 Competition. This car has a bottomless accelerator. Far too much power for our Canadian highway speeds. Very tempting to fly ! The POWER button can be setup with the desired ride,HP, handling ratios. Then one can always be ready to launch it when needed. Sound system, Navigation system etc are superb. The twin clutch transmission needs getting used to.I use the paddles and the gear shift lever most times.Although it has it's quirks, I still prefer the Automatic to the 7 speed manual. The V10 I hear will disappear next redesign so wanted to have it !!
