Pros: Sport button
Advice: If you like sports cars and convertables, all I have to say is get it.I live in germany so we basicly have our own test track... The autobaun. I went 120 MPH in it with the top down (Recomend you put the top up) but when I stoped at a stop light everyone looked at the car and just for an extra, I revved the engine a little that has a nice rumble to it.
Pros: 6-Speed tran is smooth and silky.
Cons: Top when down exposes side rail of top-looks as if something is missing
Advice: Have one built! 'Packages' costing a thousand dollars or more may not be worth the extra price.Get what YOU want !I test drove a 2003 M3 first. Fast but boring look inside and out. Drove 2003 Z4 next. Was`nt sure about the styling(inside or out)but after a short drive-I was hooked!! Had a 2002 M - fast but not user friendly. Buy this car -NOW!!!
Pros: Body Shape
Advice: If you see any Z3 coupe...don't think about it, just grab it. 2002 models are the last one. In my opinion, it will be a collector's item. From a woman's point of view...This luxury sports coupe is powerful, smooth and sexy. Although my husband and I didn't buy the Z3 for the 225-horsepower, six cylinder, 3.0 liter engine, and all of many additional surprising features...we bought this car because of the way it looks. It has it's own character...It's odd, but beautiful. 2002 Z3 3.0i sports coupe will get to know it's master's way of driving and will eventually become insync. This sports coupe hugs the road...and obeys command. It needs to be free, to let it's power loose and roar.
Pros: Adjustments for driver position, seat heaters
Cons: Extra force required to drive the car.
Advice: You probably won't get much of a price break.Very nice car, handles extremely well. Road noise is just about non-existent inside. I felt the controls were a bit stiff, steering, brakes, gas, all took more effort than the car I ended up with. Seats were stiff, and felt a little short under the thighs, although the many adjustments (seat and steering) allowed for a good driving position. The design that goes into these cars is incredible! One turn off I had in this car was the heating system and CD player did not work. Brand new car on the lot, not a good sign.
Pros: I can fit my golf clubs in the trunk!..
Cons: Tough getting in and out with top up.. But I'm 6-3..I deal with it!
Advice: If you like Power go for 3.0Incredible handling, I love both the Exterior and Interior. Turn on the Sport option and shut off the Dinamyc Stability Control and have fun, but be Careful(lots of power)! Surprised on how quiet it is. The roar of the engine and exaust gives it the true roadster feel and sound.. 18' rims just make the car look good.. Be careful when parking with front curbs, and sidewalks(low front grillle).
Pros: Automatic roof
Cons: You have to watch the very low nose , while parking.
Advice: Go for it, its a trill of a life time.I test drove a new Z4 on Dec 11 2002, I was amazed and trilled, the way this vehicle handels and performs and all tis with a super good looking body style.I had to buy this one. After the 1200 miles break in I drove to Las Vegas,on route a Porsche Boxter tried to Play.Well it was Bye Bye Porsche.the car is a perfect roadster, its like glued to the road with a smooth and fast responsive engine.
Pros: Excellent styling
Cons: Toledo Blue, SMG and Sport Seats not available immediately
Advice: Contact all nearby Fleet or Sales Managers to get the best priceThe Z4 drives extremely well, with a taut suspension, superb handling and an incredible engine. The sport packages enhances the experienc, although it makes the ride a bit harsher. All-in-all, an awesome package.
