    2009 Ford F-150 SuperCrew

    My biggest disappointment

    Pros: Looks and cab space

    Cons: The ride and handling.

I had a F-150 Crew that I loved. Especially on trips with my daughters. Only problem was the crew cab. it was a little tight. The seats were great quality and the ride was as good as most of my sedans. But, it was 8 years old and had 80,000 miles. So, I traded it for a 2010, same model. The looks are great. But, that's where it stops. This vehicle is hard to steer, and rides rough even on a new highway. I took it back and was told that this is Fords new sports car ride, feel and handling. They admitted that they didn't like it either. I tried to give it back at 238 miles, but, was laughed at. I'm 82 and this may be my last vehicle. I'm not a happy camper.

    2011 Ford F-350

    Even better than imagined

Pros: the power, quiet engine and fuel economy

Cons: still getting used to the price tag

Had the truck 2 weeks and then headed out on a 4000 mile towing vacation. It pulled my LQ horse trailer full of equipment and horses cross country and over mountain passes in 90+ degree heat without hesitation. Great fuel economy and a very comfortable ride. It's an amazing truck, Ford did their homework and produced a truck that can get the job done. The new hill descent assist was very handy coming out of the mountains.

    2009 Ford F-150 SuperCrew

The performance is outstanding after duel exhaust and K&N air flow. The vehicle is quite and the overall quality is superb. The appearance is second to none it is a show stopper.

    2010 Toyota Tacoma

    best vehicle i've owned

    Pros: comfort

    Cons: no complaints

this is a great truck. It is much more comfortable than my 2008 mustang. I'm comparing a truck to a car. build quality is also much better in the truck. This is a keeper.

    2007 Nissan Frontier

    Great Truck

    Pros: 4cylinder 5 speed.

    Cons: Turning radius=school bus

I have the XE model which is the base model and has a 4 cylinder. This is what I wanted: 4 cylinder manual 5 speed, I owned 3 trucks with this before( 1 Nissan, 2 Fords) and then 'upgraded to a V6 auto-hated it. The 2007 Frontier gets 22MPG city highway anywhere except hi speed interstate and/or windy. I mostly drive in the city so had I got a bigger engine it would have been terrible mileage. The interior is laid out great-removable cup holders (easy to clean), storage tray on the dash, one cubbie under the HVAC controls, another in front of the shifter. The passenger seat back folds flat into a table. The back doors open to 90 degrees allowing easy access to the back which is huge with the seats folded up-large enough for suitcases. I removed the child seat attachment to the back seat allowing more room. My wife & I took a 2000 mile trip to Colorado with 2 bikes and what a great rig. 2 bikes mounted to a board across the bed, 2 totes with food, a cooler, and 2 suitcases in the bed. The 4 cylinder did not race up Vail pass but it got 28MPG all day. I think less oxygen=less gas. 19MPG across Kansas. We did 10 hour days and it was comfy. The seats are not the most comfy but they worked even for the long haul. 40,000 miles and never a problem. I use it as a homeowner hauling: furniture, plants, bikes, etc. nothing heavy until I put down sod. My 1st load was 1000# for 40 miles no problem so the next one was 1300# and still no problem. Stiff suspension holds up great much better than Ford Ranger.
