My only complaint,the front brakes.Obviously too small,or poor quality rotors.When it's time for brakes,I'll put on better rotors and calipers. I guess Toyota took care of that problem on the larger 2007 model,but too late for the prior years.I hate it when I'm told about warping due to hot rotor and driving in the rain.If I wasn't planning to drive in the rain I would have bought another motorcycle.I'm easy on brakes,82,000 miles on my 2002 Acura TL-S original front brakes.
Need to Travel, Haul or Tow in Comfort?
Pros: comfort and ease to drive
Cons: wish mine had the side door moldings to protect the doors from parking lot dings.This Avalanche is so much easier to drive and comfortable to travel in than I ever expected. Has excellent cargo space and towing capacity. I've got 85k miles and am getting 19 mpg on the highway and 17 in my daily commute. A Great Vehicle which I would buy again.

Cons: THE PRICE FOR WHAT I RESIVEDFRONT OF VEHICLE WAS TO LOW. TO DRIVE IT OFF THE RD. IN THE 4X4 MODE. FRONT SUSPENSION WAS VERY POOR DESIGHN.. INSIDE HAD NO COLOR OPTIONS. SKID PROTECTION WAS NOT NEEDED AS IT COULD NOT BE TAKEN OFF RD. AS DELIVERED FROM FACTORY HAD TO WAIT UNTILL AFTER MARKET SOCKS WERE MADE FOR IT ALONG WITH A LIFT SYSTEM THAT WOULD BRING THE FRONT END UP TP REAR END. WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE GEARS IF I WANTED TO DO ANY SERIOUS 4 WHEEL OFF ROADING. BY LIFTING FRONT END & STRONGER SHOCKS THE TRUCK ROAD MUCH SAFER. STOCK SHOCKS WERE TO LIGHT & NOT SAFE. THEY WOULD NOT WORK ON TN. BUMPY ROADS. WHILE DRIVING AT OR BELOW SPEED LIMIT THE TRUCK WOULD NOT HOLD THE ROAD. AFTER ALOT OF WORK, I NOW GET REAL HONEST GAS MILEAGE OF 20-26 MPG DEPENDING HOW I DRIVE IT & 400HP! I'M A 65 YR. OLD RETIRED DEPUTY SHERIFF & AKID AT HEART!

Cons: crew cab not a 6 foot bedWhat a assume truck. It performs as good as it looks, which is excellent. 45K miles so far and not a one problem. I drive it 5 hours a day for work and every morning i look forward to driving it another 5 hours. need i say more?
