The most comfortable trucks money can buy for 2015 are starting to give comparably-priced luxury sedans a run for their money in terms of features and luxury. This is especially true in the full-size pickup segment where a focus on creating plush cabins, smooth-riding suspensions, and tech-laden options list has reached a fever pitch. Smaller trucks are scrambling to catch up, too, with a few luxury-oriented models starting to appear amongst mid-size players.

Let's take a quick look at the 10 most comfortable trucks available for 2015.

1. 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country

The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country walks the line between the full-on luxury of GMC Sierra 1500 Denali and the practical mindset of most Chevrolet customers. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country's special features include heated and ventilated front seats (with power adjustment) that are wrapped in premium 'saddle' leather, 20-inch rims, parking assistance, an upgraded audio system, and a special grille up front. It also bundles in all of the Silverado LTZ's equipment, which means a power sliding rear window, a rearview camera, dual automatic climate control, and the Chevrolet MyLink touchscreen infotainment system.

2. 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum

It's not easy to settle on which version of the 2015 Ford F-150 is the most comfortable truck in the brand's line-up, given that the Blue Oval now offers three luxury-oriented trims: Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. Of the trio the Ford F-150 Platinum is the most decadent, and it's available exclusively on four-door SuperCrew models of the full-size pickup. The Platinum trim brings with it dual automatic climate control, parking assistance, a heated steering wheel, wood trim throughout the interior (along with a 'flow through' center console), heated and cooled front seats plus heated seats out back, an eight-inch LCD gauge cluster, a navigation system, the MyFord Touch infotainment system, and upscale leather upholstery for all five seating positions. A big chrome grille, 20-inch rims, and body-color bumpers fill out the F-150 Platinum image.

3. 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Limited

The 2015 RAM 1500 Laramie Limited makes a strong play for the title of the most comfortable truck on the market for 2015. The Ram 1500 Laramie Limited builds on the already-premium base of the Laramie and Laramie Longhorn models , and it includes heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, special 'Filigree' upholstery, a heated wood steering wheel, a full-length floor console, leather-wrapped everything with unique door panels, the Uconnect 8.4 infotainment system, and a stereo system with a subwoofer. On the outside, the Laramie Limited rides on 20-inch wheels and features running boards, body-color trim, a dual exhaust system, and chrome mirrors.

4. 2015 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition

The 2015 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition takes the previously-range-topping Tundra Platinum and adds some of the western flavor that has worked so well for both Ford and Ram in recent years. This includes perforated premium 'saddle-brown' leather, a 1794-specific chrome grille and bumper end-caps, ranch-inspired wood trim, and special 20-inch wheels. The Toyota Tundra 1974 Edition (offered only on four-door CrewMax models) also includes parking assistance, heated and ventilated seats up front, a moonroof, Toyota's Entune touchscreen audio system with JBL-branded speakers, parking assistance, a power sliding rear window, and LED running lights.

5. 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali

The 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali can take credit for being one of the very first luxury pickups, and it's no surprise that its still one of the most comfortable trucks on the market. The GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is easily identifiable beside the standard Sierra 1500 due to its mesh grille, 20-inch rims, and extra chrome sprinkled all over the truck's exterior. From behind the wheel, the Denali's adaptive suspension system provides a smoother-than-average ride as compared to other premium trucks, and it also comes with a locking rear differential as standard equipment. Perforated leather seats (heated and ventilated up front, with power adjustments), an LCD gauge cluster, Bose audio, a navigation system, and parking assistance are also included with the Denali trim.

6. 2015 Nissan Titan SL

The 2015 Nissan Titan SL isn't quite as advanced as the rest of its full-size pickup brethren - a full redesign is heading to showrooms for 2016 - but it still offers comfortable truck fare for those seeking a reasonably affordable daily driver. The Nissan Titan SL is a four-door-only trim level, and it features 20-inch wheels, the NissanConnect telematics system, a navigation system, leather seats front and rear, a utility-focused cargo management system in the bed, a rearview camera, a Rockford Fosgate audio system, and dual automatic climate control. Drivers who are smaller in stature will also appreciate the Titan SL's power adjustable pedals.

7. 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Z71

The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 is an off-road oriented edition of the brand's new mid-size pickup. In addition to serving up a more robust suspension system and hill descent control, the Chevrolet Colorado Z71 also steps in as the top-tier model from a comfort perspective. This means that Z71 trucks get 17-inch wheels, genuine imitation leather (and cloth) upholstery, sharper exterior styling, and features such the MyLink touchscreen interface, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power adjustments for the two forward positions, and of course power windows and door locks.

8. 2015 Toyota Tacoma V6 Limited

The 2015 Toyota Tacoma does its trim levels a little differently, which means that if you want the most comfortable version of this mid-size truck you first have to select a V-6 engine and four-wheel drive on the order sheet. That opens up access to the Toyota Tacoma V6 Limited package, which adds heated front seats (wrapped in leather-like vinyl), 18-inch chrome wheels with chrome bumpers and a chrome grille surround (along with chrome fog light housing, door handles, and side mirrors), a navigation system, a JBL/Entune touchscreen audio system, and a leather-appointed steering wheel. You also get keyless entry, a sliding rear window, and cruise control with the Tacoma V6 Limited package.

9. 2015 Nissan Frontier SL

Like its full-size sibling, the 2015 Nissan Frontier SL presents mid-size shoppers with modest, but still appealing truck comfort. The Nissan Frontier SL offers nice-to-have features such as a sunroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a navigation system, 18-inch wheels, heated leather seats (with power adjustments), a touchscreen infotainment system, an in-bed cargo management system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the NissanConnect telematics system. You also get step rails, fog lights, chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, and chrome door handles and exterior mirrors with the Frontier SL model, with those same mirrors offering standard heaters.

10. 2015 GMC Canyon SLT All Terrain

The last entry on our list of the most comfortable pickups for 2015 is the 2015 GMC Canyon SLT All Terrain, a stylistically different take on the same platform used by the mid-size Chevrolet Colorado. Although there's as-yet no Denali version of the GMC Canyon, the SLT model with the All Terrain package still provides high end features such as automatic climate control, unique metallic trim throughout the interior, 17-inch rims, a body-color rear bumper, heated seats with power adjustments up front, an off-road suspension system, a locking rear differential, the GMC IntelliLink infotainment interface, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
