4500 Mile Trip
Pros: mileage and storeage space
Cons: back doorJust got back from a 4500 mile trip in our Toyota RAV4 4WD. Drove thru rain and hail, high winds, up and down many many mountain ranges, and crossed desserts. Only had one problem , a nail in a tire. Our RAV operated and handled beautifully.
Pros: Lot's of storage.
Cons: Bridgestone TiresI just love my Venza...I'm saddened though by the safety problems Toyota's currently having. Margaret
I love my Venza
Pros: Abundant storage.
Cons: Brigestone TiresBy far the best car for the money I've ever owned.
Good, solid, attractive car
Pros: comfort, size
Cons: less room to haul stuff (we've owned vans for the past 40 years).Seems like a great car. We had a sunroof added before taking delivery. We selected red. Good fit and finish.
Pros: great fuel mileage
Cons: the position of the left arm rest
Advice: great quality at an affordable pricethe car has enough power (manual transmission), very stable on road, easy to drive, great brakes. great price, great fuel mileage. I use it for daily commute to work (25 miles one way). center dashboard easy to get used to. enough room for driver, I am 6' tall, 250 lbs. I purchased the sedan version. The hatchback is a lot more noisier. The automatic transmission lacks power. I qualified for 0% APR with 0% down payment.
Pros: Right now the seats. They're as comfortable as the Highlander's.
Cons: I really don't like how it handles on bumpy surfaces; and I wish it had real arm rests.
Advice: Go for it if you're stepping down from an SUV or up from a sedan. You can't beat it!There are some blind spots, so looking carefully before changing lanes is a must! And when the car hits a bump or a continuous patch of bad pavement, you feel it....not unlike a truck. That shouldn't be. The gas mileage is so-so. I had hoped it would be better than my 02 Highlander. Still, this is a lovely, and I mean lovely car for someone like me who packs four bikes, gear, people, and luggage to events. It does the job really, really well.
