great car for everything
Pros: the extra large sun roof
Cons: there is not radio controls on steering wheelthis is a fantastic car for towing. seats 8 comfortably. it drive great and rides smooth. has a dvd player, it's 4 wheel drive v8. the maintenance has been keep up very well and is parked in a garage daily
Pros: Red Rock leather interior
Cons: JBL navigation is the worst navigation I have ever had the displeasure of using. All essential features are locked out and cannot be used when the vehicle is in motion.
Advice: DO NOT PURCHASE VEHICLE WITH FACTORY NAVIGATION. Purchase aftermarket NAVSmooth quiet ride, plenty of power, great handling.
Pros: handles like a car not a truck like my last two suvs
Cons: Alot of repairs
Advice: DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Do not buy unless you like to see your repairman often. Little over 44,ooo miles had to spend $1000 on brkae diaphram. Had back window motor go out at 1000 miles. Had computer that works anti skid go out. Driver's seat belt retraction mech. went out. Recall front end ball joints. Now passenger side view mirror loose. Good luck if you decide to buy. I will never buy toyota again.
Pros: heated seats, solid & reliable
Cons: poor visibilty- blind spots
Advice: take a good long test driveI drove a Land Cruiser and traded it in for my Sequoia. I miss my land cruiser. I have limited vision and blind spots in the Sequoia. Backing out and left, forward turns have definate blind spots.
Pros: Versatility of seating ( over 16 different configurations )
Cons: stock sound system ( nowhere near flat frequency response )
Advice: hunt for a used vehicle with some miles left on the mfr warrantyIn comparison to the Ford Expedition, the Sequoia was as smooth as silk. Even with 40,000 miles on it, the Sequoia was tight and responsive. The engine is almost as willing to rev as my SHO. Fit and finish are superb. 3rd row seats are the real thing; thick and comfortable. Safety features abound in this truck; stability control, skid control, brake assist, ABS, front and side airbags, reinforced side beams, etc.
