    2005 Toyota RAV4

    Dependable

    Pros: Quick and agile

Cons: How it stooped down on the front

Don't want to tree this one in. But can't really have three cars, so I have to tree this one in.

    2005 Toyota RAV4 - (M5) AWD

Pros: 4wd. road clearance. front seating, ride, accereration.

Cons: no remote entry-rear seat headrests-not the best tires

Advice: get remote entry and different tires

nice ride-comfortable and sturdy front seats -dont hear any dashboard rattles-replaced toyo tires w/michelin LTX m/s. Sipes go all the way thru to the tire core. Removed rear seat headrests (somewhat blocking rear window view) Can put back if needed. Gas milage 22 city and 27 highway is accurate. Also added remote entry and start.Good acceleration.Overall very pleased and will know more this winter in our MI weather. Road clearance and 4wd also a plus.

    2005 Toyota RAV4 - (M5) AWD

Pros: volume control on the steering wheel

    Cons: no daytime running lights

Advice: test drive it to see if you like the way it handles on the road

i had bought the S model for the Rav 4 2005. It handles well turning corners. Tight steering very sturdy. The only thing is disappointing is it dont have daytime running lights i love the control on the steering for the radio and volume control.

    2005 Toyota RAV4 - (M5) AWD

    Pros: handling/maneuverability

    Cons: rattle

Advice: Be careful if you don't like rattles

Have an L version with automatic, handles great, ride is a bit rough but not overhwelmingly so. Price was below invoice. A/C is very strong, seats are comfortable, rear seats fold down quickly and can be removed in no time at all if you need the room. Only problem in first 500 miles is a very annoying dashboard rattle that comes and goes, but when it comes it is loud and constant. I test drove it and rattle was not there or I would not have bought this particular vehicle. Am taking it to dealer hopefully to get it fixed.

    2005 Toyota RAV4 - (M5) AWD

    Pros: Sunroof

    Cons: No keyless entry

    Advice: Check for keyless entry

Nice ride for an SUV, much better than the CRV. Toyota really meesed up not making Keyless entry 'Standard'. Does having aftermarket installing of a system void the warranty from Toyota?

    2005 Toyota RAV4 - (M5) FWD

Pros: roomy back, appearance, handeling, back seats are adjustable , and quick for its size.

Cons: stereo s**ks, no remote key entry,

Advice: do your homework before shopping for a vehicle..........

great car..lots of room in the back which makes it so convienant to store boxes and other stuff in it. i just purchased the standard model which is equivalnet to the L model just with added features..unfortuantely, the basic model does not have remore key entry or leather seats, but whgo cares..th edealer wanted 1,000 more for that while i can install it for 300.00. as far as the engine, rides great, a bit noisy though, but handles great and easy to maneuver..My philosphy was to buy qaulity for long term, not some vehicle that will last 5 years or so and then start spending all kinds of crazy money on repairs.. the bottom line is, SUVS are stronger built, but carry the same engine as your regular standard sedan. i highy recommend purchasing the 4x4.. note: no car is perfect!! remember, perfection only exists in fantasy land
