Pros: Sun Roof
Advice: Test drive the vehicle you'll love it.I have had my RAV4 for almost a yr now. I bought the 2004 in 2003. I LOVE my RAV4! There isn't anything I don't like about it. It handles great, the gas m. is better than my ford contour ever was. I got the L series and I'm not missing anything. Everyone I know that has one of these loves it with a capitol L. I recently bought a boat and it tows just great. Keeping in mind the tow capacity is 1500lbs, my boat is 1400lbs. There are no def. in my vehicle, and after 1 yr of driving there still isn't anything loose on it. If you have a chance to buy one, DO IT!
Pros: Seat comfort, easy to drive, sunroof, cargo space & versability, looks
Cons: Bumpy ride, gas mileage
Advice: Get the Feeling........Toyota's Great! All around Great little SUV! LOVE IT!
Pros: gas milage
Cons: there isn't really anything i don't love about my new rav4
Advice: buy it nowthis vehicle is wonderful it gives me the same satisfication that i have grown to love about all my toyotas
Pros: haven't decided yet.... all the plug in's and the little things like adjustable cup holders are great
Cons: so far all is excellent
Advice: check all resources and you'll see this is a highly rated car. After I bought I was caught in a terrible storm (three hours after driving off the lot). The RAV handled superb! i felt confident being on the road in the worst of conditions.
Pros: Handling and ride. Removable rear seats. Relatively high gas milage.
Cons: The awful rear door.
Advice: Make sure to test drive on highway and have the dealer throw in the paint protection. This newly designed RAV4 is a great overall vehicle and a cut above the 2003 model. The engine is quicker and quieter and there are more standard options such as ABS and steering wheel controls. Almost everything about this vehicle is well designed and high quality...even the factory stereo is pretty good. The ride is very smooth for a truck and the interior is well designed with everything down to the drinkholders in the right place. The manual transmission is very smooth (unlike the CRV) and the removable rear seats are convenient too. The only thing really wrong with this vehicle is the oversized clunky rear door with a window that doesn't roll down or flip up...why Toyota left such a blunder on this vehicle is downright puzzling. Also, the truck could use an extra 6 inches in length and the blinking seat belt light on the dash is annoying. At any rate, this is a great vehicle and rates the best of the 3 small SUV's (the other 2 being the Ford Escape and Honda CRV) although the CRV is a close second with more cargo area.
