Pros: 4 wheel driveExcellent for rural roads.
Cons: colorbest on mileage
best i ever had
Pros: all of them,
Cons: the exterior, should get the sporty package.
Advice: get the Sport edition.I had a toyota corolla for 3-4 years, only put 22k in it. trade it for RAV4 2005, Love it,. Should get the sporty package but try to keep the budget low, because wifey just purchased 2003 C230 2dr-coupe. anyway, love the comfort, love the performance, just trust me, better get the sporty package.
Pros: It's so easy to drive. Takes no effort to jump into traffic.
Cons: Rear seat room. Perfect for 2 people in the rear. Add one more and it's tight. I have 2 small children and even one more child is too tight.
Advice: It's a great buy! Handles well. Economical. Not for carpooling more than 4 people. This is a smooth driving SUV. Very quiet and I am surprised at the power it has for a 4 cylinder vehicle. Very nice.
Pros: Removable rear seats
Advice: Consider also the Honda CRVCons: 1. The MPG is very questionable in this 2004 Rav4. I only getting about 22MPG in City/HWY driving. 2. Road noise, but Honda CRV is even worst in this area. Pros: Not as much blind spots as Honda CRV. Good visibility. Good handling enough power and acceration with a 161hp. In comparing with the Honda CRV, Buy RAV4, if you are looking for fun (turning corners, acceration) and removable rear seats. Buy CRV, if you are looking for more roomy and confort in seating, and cargo space.
Pros: The performace is great and the ride is much smoother in the 2004 RAV4
Cons: I could use a little more room/storage compartments in the front portion of the car.
Advice: If your looking for a reliable SUV with a little pickup get the Toyota RAV4I was very surprised at the improvements of the 2004 RAV4. I owned a 1998 and didnt like the wind noise and performance level but the engine itself was great. I had no problems at all!! Oil change and tires are all I'm accustomed to paying for. I test drove the Honda CRV and thought it was very roomy and smooth driving. I was set on getting the CRV until I heard about the 2004 CRV's cathing fire after an oil change is done. Eek! I test drove the 2004 RAV4 and was very please with all the improvements they made to the car. The pickup speed is great and the wind noise is actually minimal now and the ride is smooth. You cannot go wrong with a Toyota!! This is my third RAV4, can you believe it? I love that car! It's reliable, safe and looks preety cool too!
