You might think of Michigan as just being home to the likes of Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, and a few suppliers. But you would actually be wrong as almost every automaker and supplier has an office and/or facility in the state. One of those automakers happens to be Toyota, and they are making a huge investment in the state.
Yesterday, Toyota announced a $28 million investment at their Technical Center in Ann Arbor, MI, a town which is about 45 minutes west of Detroit. The investment will go towards expanding the powertrain operations at the facility that will improve development capabilities of engines and transmissions.
